The Brooklyne Motel was perfect for our needs as we were passing through and needed one night to put our heads down before carrying on our road trip. I'm fussy and the bed linen & towels were CLEAN. The units are old but CLEAN and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The motel appeared full and the other guests were respectful of each other regarding noise. We drove into Bulls for dinner at a little take-away/dine in Indian restaurant (good food) which is part of the food court next to the BP station. A stay at the Brooklyne is value for money and appeared just like the photos.

Being by a main road I expected a lot of road noise and traffic... there was some but very minimum noise. Water pressure in the small shower was low but hot. The unit is dated but very clean and comfortable, and for the budget was good.

Nice Quiet Family Place
Motel is dated but in okay condition. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was wonderful. Very quiet. There is a self-serve laundry on site. Management was extremely responsive when we had trouble with the shower. Nice quiet little family place. No complaints. Saw several other people with dogs, so animals are allowed in your room.

Appeared to have been recently refurbished with modern fridge and air conditioning unit, both worked well and were quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Only slight down side is it is on a reasonably busy road but the block construction and good window catches helped minimise noise intrusion.
