I loved the unique touches - biscochitos and sherry treats, local artwork in our room and all around the hotel, wonderful breakfast service. Our son also loved the heated pool. The only negative I would note was that our room was on the smaller side and became fairly cramped with our family of three and our luggage.

Great location - rooms were rather small with lack of drawer space. Mini fridge but no microwave. Staff very attentive and friendly. There was an ant issue but that may be seasonal.

We had an exceptional stay for the most part. It is a historical hotel, so the bathroom is a little dated. This is to be expected in a historical hotel. My only concern was with the kiva fireplace. It was warm during our stay. We had a western exposure and when we opened the doors to the balcony to let in some cool air in the evening smoke from another room was coming in out balcony door. It was a minor inconvenience. I would return to the hotel as well as recommend it to others.

Great place to stay, minutes away from everything in Santa Fe. The place is decorated with taste and feels very homely. Beautiful NM furnishings. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Grateful for the welcoming front desk staff and the earplugs in the room - walls are a little thin, and the earplugs worked like a dream : ). Great location, with parking and breakfast included ! Wow!

Excellent customer service. Great food. Nice friendly bar with the best bartender. Beautiful lobby area. Room was very nice and cozy. Definitely recommend.

I love the Native American design and influence on the interior areas, it is beautiful. I loved waking to the sounds of birds singing. Parking is tricky with an awkward shaped parking lot area and small garage.

The Inn of the Governors was a very charming hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was delicious. You MUST try the Huevos Rancheros!!! And the sherry happy hour in the afternoon was the great way to end the day. The room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and at a remarkably reasonable price. It is located in the heart of old-town Santa Fe, has full parking, great amenities, attractive and comfortable rooms, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Tea and cookies in afternoon was lovely. We were presented with our own tray first night because we checked in afterward. Having breakfast cooked for us instead of sitting in warming dishes was a treat as well. Front desk staff were welcoming upon arrival.

Our first time in Santa Fe. Loved this hotel, walkable to plaza, restaurants, museums. Made to order breakfast was included which made it very convenient. Delicious homemade biscochos (regional cookies) and sherry every evening was fun. Staff very nice and helpful. Would stay here again if in Santa Fe.

The location is good but too close to the busy road we couldn’t sleep till 3 am because of very noisy traffic Shower is in bad shape The restaurant Del Charro is literally right into the hotel property but food is not good just regular Mexican fastfood Pretty dark rooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this down to earth, friendly, clean, charming inn. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us like old friends, made sure we knew where everything was located, provided recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was free, cooked fresh to order, delicious. This is a great place to bring kids because of the pool and walking access to everything. But more than anything else, I appreciated how friendly the staff was compared to larger corporate hotels and resorts I’ve stayed in Santa Fe. As well as the charming southwest decor in the room, and the fireplace in the breakfast room. Lovely!

I paid $275 for one night at room 307, a glorified motel room that was clean and cozy but, too small. The shower head is one of those that you can buy for $5. I left after one night and stayed next at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa. There, a room that could accommodate two king size beds, with deluxe bedding, great bathroom and a big TV, cost me $253.
