The hotel and staff were superb in every way. Each staff member was the epitome of hospitality and could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay. The room was generous and the beds extremely comfortable. The surrounding area is a little dodgy - the concierge advised us to store our valuables in the room safe and to beware of pickpockets out on the street. Inside the hotel, we felt very safe.

The staff was exceptional including the restaurant staff. Location is very convenient. This is an older hotel with wonderful patina! Excellent restaurant and bar!

Wonderful welcome to Santiago! The hotel is lovely and the staff even more so. We arrived several hours earlier than check in from a long day of international travel, and while our room was not yet ready for check in, they offered us use of the showers and facilities at the pool and fitness center, stored our luggage for the day while we did some sightseeing, and welcomed us to a lovely sanctuary at the end of the day. The concierges were kind and offered safety guidance and tips for a wonderful stay! We return to the hotel again next week, and we are very excited to return! Highly recommend!

Check in was dramatically slow, two gentlemen sitting behind desk and where like snails on crutches. Arrived at 7 AM and had pre arranged for a day room at an extra cost. Was told that it was not available. Eventually got into room at 2 10 PM. Handed laundry in two days before we were fue to check out and got it back wet with two minutes to spare before our bus left for the airport. Worst front desk service we have experienced in 50 years of travel.

Great hotel, impeccable service, very clean. However, rough neighborhood. Directly across the street is borderline ghetto and dangerous. My wife’s phone was ripped from her hand. Best bet is the new section of Santiago.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms, very helpful staff, and conveniently situated walking distance from a ton of Santiago's attractions (Plaza de Armas and loads of museums are just a ten minute stroll away as are the Feria Artesenal Santa Lucia and Cerro Santa Lucia). Really good breakfast options - Victoria was so helpful in extending breakfast time since we were unwell so we could help ourselves to the excellent buffet.

A Plaza San Francisco is the most gorgeous hotel with beautiful wood work and vintage furnishings. Centrally located, outstanding service, great breakfast. The restaurant for dinner at night was somewhat expensive and a bit pretentious in my opinion.

The hotel is stunning. You can walk across the street to shopping, food, big open square park and historic buildings. Service was excellent, from check-in to dining room food options, to spa. Highly recommend!
