Fairfield Marriott is a great hotel, so close to great restaurants, the subway and various retail shops. Our team stayed there for a week, enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day and were well treated by the amazing and friendly staff.

The hotel was okay in terms of condition, size, cleanliness, and service. The location is excellent and the price is good. Overall, pretty good hotel.

Hotel has good central location for shops/nightlife. They were doing some exterior work on the hotel when we visited, hence outside covered in a huge shroud. So not much to see out of the window. Hotel service, cleanliness OK. Biggest negative was very hard bed, giving me back ache in the morning. So would likely choose a different hotel next time.

Comfortable hotel in convenient location
The Sapporo Tobu hotel was conveniently located for the airport limousine bus, public transport, shopping, great food. It was also walking distance to many sights in Sapporo including Oodori Kouenn where they were preparing the ice and snow sculptures for he Sapporo Snow Festival. The room was clean, the twin beds were generous and did not feel crowded even when sharing one with my young child. The staff were professional and efficient.

Great location, helpful staff
Pros: 1. Convenient location being close to Tanuki Koji and right next to Nijo Seafood Market 2. Helpful staff who helped us with directions, restaurant reservation and even to heat up food we bought from a convenience store 3. Room is spacious enough to accommodate 4 pax Cons 1. Early check in is subject to a fee payment (about ¥1,000 per room per hour) 2. Location not close to JR station or bus stop to Chitose airport but I’d rather be close to shopping

It would be great if the room is provided with a humidifier as it is dry in the room with heat on.

Good hotel in Sapporo
Overall is good to stay and travel in Sapporo. It is in good location and near many landmarks of Sapporo. Many landmarks are in walking distance. It is near fish market. You can eat Sashimi everyday near hotel, can walk to TV tower. Easy to call Taxi. Room is good, clean, nothing to say bad comment. Staffs are friendly and have services mind.

The happiest place during our trip to Sapporo
The room is very spacious, I love it! The sofa and bed are so soft that we had a good sleep, thanks! And the best part is.. the smoking room lobby is not smelly at all! It is even very fragrant :)

Nice hotel in the center of Sapporo
The hotel is central and close to all the attractions and to some nice cafes. The rooms are a bit old, but clean and spacious.

Sapporo Tobu Hotel not destination in Sapporo!
Carpet dirty, old, used Photos on website is dated. Staff not aware of shopping sites near hotel. Claimed nothing was near the hotel. Recommended we catch city bus to return to airport. Awful. Breakfast was decent but room with breakfast was not offered on Expedia. Would never recooked this hotel for visitors.

Sapporo tobu is a good hotel
Near subway n eateries, supermarket, convenient stores n sightseeing place. Staff limited English but is OK. Power shower but no limited heating. Large bedroom n toilet with bath n powerful shower. Breadfast expensive, eat elsewhere. you need access key card to access lift to the rooms which is safe.

Great stay
Plenty of hotels available in Sapporo but Sapporo Tobu Hotel is conveniently located between Odori Park and Susukino. In addition to that, Nijo Market is situated right next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.

Stayed one night during the high season at the end of August 2013. Only smoking rooms were available on line, and only a triple. They were nice enough to switch me to a triple and allow an early check-in, although all rooms were sold out. Nice room, large enough, but a bit worn down, yet comfortable for the night.

Great sized room.
After staying in tiny hotels in both Tokyo and Kyoto our hotel in Sapporo seemed like a dream. The room was a great size with lovely furniture and a decent sized ensuite (where you could actually move around comfortably.) I would happily and confidently recommend this hotel.

Very near to the city easy access to the city but a bit far from the JR sta abt 40min walk around 1KM,around 800Y to taxi from hotel to JR sta. The guys at the front desk don't know much English so a bit hard to communicate but they are very friendly and willing to help always. Took the airport transfer bus from new Chitose air port 1000y the bus stops about 200m from the hotel. I think its the best way to get to the hotel from the airport.

A very comfortable and modern hotel
This was one if the best value hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan. Very clean modern and comfortable, we reluctantly had to leave to go skiing, would have liked to stay longer.

The location is good but the staff are not very helpful. The a/c didn't work and they did nothing to solve this. When asked for a fan, they said they would bring one up. This happened 3 times before I gave up with no fan or a/c.

Sapporo Tobu Hotel
This hotel was quite close to all of the action that the snow festival brings. It was extremely close to the Susukino area and a decent walk from the Odori Park area. Oh! And it is right next to the fish market that everyone knows to check out. The crab selection is wonderful. The hotel is lovely and the people who work there are very nice and welcoming, as are most Japanese. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great for Misawa families. Close to Sapporo Station, a quick cab ride less than 1000 Yen. Walk to SNOW FESTIVAL! I would stay here again!
