In the real estate world the term "villa" usually refers to a single story structure. As a stroke patient I was not happy to see I had been assigned a second floor, walk up unit. With no one at guest check in, there was little I could do but make a half-dozen trips up & down the stairs to schlep my belongings into the unit. It was not a good start to my stay as I felt I needed to deal with the problem overnight, think about it & maybe face it tomorrow. Is that the reasoning behind self-check ins? Amber was kind enough to offer to move me to a lower unit but since I was already settled, I stay where I was, in spite of no wi-fi (asked twice) and no way to stream TV (( asked once). It just seemed that "guest services" didn't exist at Shorewalk. Too bad, it's a nice enough property in an excellent location.
