Great for Family of 5 and close to Helen.
Just wanted to relax. Had a couple of day trips into Helen and a day at Unicoi State Park. The pool table really kept the kids/teenagers busy. Outdoor fire pit was awsome!

NYE Trip

Fantastic Cabin
What a beautiful Cabin nestled in the woods. Beautiful interior with a lovely and relaxing fireplace. The pool table was fun for the family to enjoy. Cabin was well stocked and made for a great family getaway.

We all loved the cabin. The perfect size for our needs and close to Helen Ga where we wanted to visit. The kitchen had all the appliances that you would need. We would definitely stay again!!

This was a great cabin to stay in while we were exploring Helen. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Except for a hair dryer...bring one if you stay here. It was close to town and the state park, but felt secluded. The pool table was great entertainment for my kids while we waited out the rain. Definitely recommend!

The cabin was very clean and perfect for our family of 6! We had an amazing time. Having the games, fire pit and pool table was a plus! I would recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone and the price was absolutely a steal!

It’s not the most isolated cabin, but it feels like it is. You walk out on the screened back porch and feel like you’re in a jungle. It’s quiet and has great proximity to nearby towns

Nice quiet place to enjoy the area
This cabin was just close enough to enjoy Helen and the nearby State Park. But far enough away for lots of peace and quiet. The porch was especially nice! Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Thanks for having such a nice place to visit.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet area, which was what we were looking for as we wanted to have some downtime. Cabin was fully stocked, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the back porch swing, fire pit and the kids loved the games provided. Communication was excellent.

Great cabin near Helen!
We loved the cabin and the location! The only issues we had was that there wasn’t a hair dryer in either of the bathrooms. Also the thermostat didn’t seem accurate. But we loved it anyway and would stay there again, if we get the chance!

50th birthday getaway
Perfect spot. Within driving distance to Helen, yet just far enough away from civilization so it was quiet and enjoyable. The pool table and fire pit were by far the best parts. I will definitely be making a return trip.

Totally enjoy our time at this property, it was a little smaller than what's advertised, but the time spent there was outstanding. We had an issue with the driveway, due to the type of vehicle we drive. It's definitely not sports car friendly. We had to be very careful not to get stuck in the ditches that leads to the front door.

Quant place perfectly furnished and close to Helen
This property is simple and cute. Three main rooms in the building, with one being for a couple and the other being a bed and a bunk bed with a bathroom... probably better for kids or a close family. The main room has a small table (which could be bigger), a pool table, and a fireplace with a TV. The main area is a little tight but workable. Luckily there is an awesome screened-in porch with a swing, table, and grill perfect for outdoor morning coffee or morning grill. Instructions and information were on the fridge, and the communication was spectacular. This cabin is close to about three other cabins (separated by 50-100 feet of woods and a tree line), so if you are looking for loud noise privacy in Winter (I am not here to judge just say'in), this isn't the place, but otherwise, this place is perfect.

Remote & quiet cabin that's only 10 minutes from Helen
The screened porch with grill was great to keep the mosquitoes away. The outside firepit was great! We had fun playing pool. Overall a great cabin!!

Secluded but close
House was secluded and private a little hard to find at night. It was close enough to Helen that you didn’t have to far of a drive but you could distance yourself from traffic. House was very comfortable but had a few cleanliness issues not bad. Plenty of room, big bedrooms and bathrooms, loved the pool table. If you plan to cook bring everything with you no stores close by to run to. I give it 4 stars because beds and living room were very comfortable.

Close enough, yet far enough away!
The process was easy and friendly. The location was close enough to Helen, Cleveland, and Hiawassee for entertainment and fun driving. Great Lakes and parks in the area. The BEST time to have been here, didn’t have to deal with all the crowds until our last two nights!

Quiet secluded cottage
PROS: Overall enjoyed our stay; the cottage was nice; bed was comfortable; pillows fair; nice thick towels; well-equipped kitchen; enjoyed the screened-in porch and pool table; and fire pit—CONS: poor housekeeping; had to clean kitchen counters, bath vanity, and toilet seat; pre-wash dishes, clean porch chairs and grill of caked dust and pollen. Grit on floors; dusty shelves. No hair dryer or shampoo (stated in amenities). After cleaning, we relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Hope to get a refund for the cleaning fee???

Place was great with one exception
Everything at the cabin was great. It was very clean, accommodating, well stocked with dishes, etc. One big problem was: no or very difficult internet. We had maintenance come out to help but they were not familiar with dish internet. They managed to get it limping along but the internet system needs to seriously be replaced. Neither myself or my friend could get phone signal. We are both elderly and not in good health. It felt unsafe not having a way to call someone. Other than that, we would stay there again and again. The rental office was exceptionally helpful.

Perfect Family Getaway
We loved our stay at Marilee for the weekend. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was the perfect distance from everything that we could go out and explore, but when we were ready to go back and just hang out at the cabin we could. It had everything we needed and the staff were great to help!! We will definitely be back!!
