"Parking was easy. Room was clean. Shower pressure was trickling though and the bed was too firm. Location was perfect."

"The lobby was under renovation so it was a bit of a mess. Parking very easy but expensive at 45 dollars a night given the cost of the room oer night. The biggest surprise was no housekeeping during the day to replace towels etc. We were told not housekeeping on weekends and we just needed to ask for more towels. Overall, good location."

"I had a wonderful stay at Portland Harbor Hotel and would absolutely recommend it! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old Port, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy yet upscale feel. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor courtyard—it’s such a relaxing spot to unwind after a day exploring Portland. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Maine!"

"Location was good. Staff attentive and kind. Room 7\10 cleanliness. Room and bedding was clean. The shower caulking was dirty in spots. Breakfast was as expected with exception of coffee. Automatic coffee machine, and I have seen dishwater darker. Impression that they are housing homeless persons in some rooms with people yelling each night. 4am - 8am person on a verbal loop, loudly saying the same thing over and over again. "

"We only stayed for a night but we had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and what truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff, Richard. When we asked him for a lunch recommendation, he suggested a fantastic local spot! His knowledge of the area and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just comfort, but outstanding service as well."
