The pool was excellent, there were plenty of chairs and sun loungers for everyone. The pool table/games room was a brilliant addition. We went on the VELO rail in the nearby Corgnac-sur-l'Isle which was great fun."

Perfect pool and terrace for relaxing in the sun … and the surrounding area provides so much to see and do from markets to caves to castles to canoeing! "Belle maison pour séjourner au calme! Les chambres à l’étage communiquent et ne sont pas fermées donc il s’agit plutôt d’un dortoir. La climatisation est seulement à l’étage mais le rez de chaussée reste frais. Idéal pour se balader dans les environs."

"Very well equipped property - great to have good sharp knives and a huge supply of pans, crockery etc, but we were rather surprised to be charged for linen when the listing does not mention this. The pool is absolutely lovely particularly with the resident frogs, but the alarm did sound a few times for no apparent reason (including 5 am in the morning once). The exterior and surrounding grounds of the house were enchanting. Each time we went away for a day to do some sight-seeing - on our return, seeing the house always made us smile. "True country side experiance in a beautiful landscape. Owned by a friendly family who also speak very good english, which for me without even basic french language skills is a big plus. Perfect place to slow down a little and relax off the grid or take a tour around the countryside with your car or on your bike with a mix of steep hills, wast valleys as well as some historical monuments like the Château de Hautefort in cycling distance."
