An incredible view on a unique part of seven mile beach. When we met one of the next door neighbors, they asked “how did you know to know to come here?” We said we were very lucky to find it. The host was incredibly helpful with all our requests. If you are looking for a low key and beach bound holiday, this is a wonderful pick.

Absolutely Great Property
We stayed the week of April 6, 2024 with our family of five. The property was exactly as advertised and we loved it. Having a very clean place to stay is extremely important to us, and the condo was very clean and well taken care of. The location is great! We really enjoyed the pool and swim-up bar at the property, and the sea wall at the beach made for really ideal swimming for our kids. It’s close to lots of restaurants and shopping and it was easy to hop in the car and drive to Rum Point and the East side of the island. I would highly recommend this condo if you’re looking for a a family vacation in Grand Cayman.

A wonderful island stay
Overall we had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cove. The place was very clean and location was great. The pool is huge and clean and was never overly busy. The on site restaurant, Lazy Lizard, was delicious. We loved viewing the sunsets from the balcony and the beach. There was a table, lounge chair and hammock on the balcony. There were included beach towels, sand toys, pool noodles and snorkel gear. The kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer worked well. Air conditioner didn't work very well. Maybe it's an older AC unit. This wasn't really an issue for me but thought I would mention as it may be important for others. The 2 sink vanity in the master is nice but the toilet/shower room is super tiny. There is a constant vent noise coming from the bathroom which you can hear from the master bedroom quite loudly. Again, didn't bother me but may be important to some. We really had a wonderful time and the space was perfect for my family of 4. I would definitely recommend staying at Sunset Cove when visiting the island!

Beachfront luxury
As a frequent visitor, Grand Cayman, I was pleasantly surprised by this incredible three bedroom condo right on the beach. Everything is up-to-date and top-notch… From the kitchen to the bedding to the furniture to the AC. Everyone was understandably impressed by the location, the patio, to sit on in the mornings, and in the evenings, the pools, the beach, the lagoon and the hospitality. I’d love to stay there again.

Beautiful condo and views!
We were very happy with our condo choice at Sunset Cove! Very nice condo with everything we needed for a great girls trip. It was a quiet and peaceful in this area. There were plenty of lounge chairs at the beach and pool area. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and nice. Joe the host was very responsive to answer all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Views - Great Protected Swimming Area
Perfect protected ocean swimming area for young kids, especially when the waves pick up. Pleasant accommodations with a nice pool and great bar with decent food. Medical center and grocery store located close by. Great stay for a week.

Family getaway
Joe was super responsive and helpful with things to do in the area. The property was wonderful, clean, safe and many things in walking distance. We loved snorkeling the cove and if you go around the cove you will see even more fish. There was lots of swim toys, floaties, and swim towels We would rent this property again.

Fantastic! Great location, clean, and had everything we needed. Huge balcony overlooking the ocean with a full table, lounge chairs, and hammock. So relaxing! The property owner was very attentive. Anytime I messaged him with a general question he responded quickly. The week before we arrived I messaged him and he took the time and called me with many helpful suggestions. We did book the private charter with Alan with Double Trouble boat charters as was recommended by the condo owner which was so worth the extra expense going private as he made sure we got to see all that we wanted to and was great with our kids ages 11 & 13.

Peaceful Paradise
This is the second time we’ve stayed at Sunset Cove and both times at properties owned by Joe Romare. He is very easy to contact and very responsive to questions while also offering some nice connections for things to do during our stay. The condos are spotless and comfortable with all the amenities needed to prepare meals. The location on 7 Mile Beach is perfect - close to wonderful shopping and dining while feeling peaceful and secluded with gorgeous oceanfront views. I can’t recommend this property enough and we will be back again and again.

Dirty. Cheap furnishings. No curtains in one bedroom. No dresser in the other. Advertised on 7 mile beach. Technically correct but not connected to the portion of 7 mile beach where you can walk 7 miles. Maybe 100 yards each way from the condo is all you can walk. Also access to condo is horrible. You have to walk thru the abandoned ruins of the Margaritaville ruins.

We have stayed at this property many times over past 20 years. The location made it convenient for all of who traveled to venture in different directions whenever we felt like it. Joe's unit that we stayed in this time was remodeled and updated nicely. We did miss having a closet in the master bedroom, but we made it work just fine.

Property very nice - apartment has ocean view and easy access to beach, pool, BBQ’s. Would have liked blackout curtains on windows, better toilet paper, supply of tissues and soap & shampoo products. Other than that I would highly recommend for business stay or personal stay.

30th Anniversary Trip
The condo and property were exactly what we were looking for. Oceanfront condo with amazing sunsets.Condo was stocked with Paper Towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, beach towels, bath towels, floats and snorkeling gear. Joe was very responsive to our questions and made plenty of recommendations. The only disappointment was that the second bedroom was a queen and not a King bed as advertised. We would definitely stay there again.

The location of the condo was great! We did have issues with cleanliness when we arrived but talked to the owner and he sent the cleaning crew again. We had a fantastic stay. The place was great! Loved being so close to the beach and the pool/pool bar was fun, too. Plenty of room for my family of 6. My only problem is that the posting needs to be changed. Although Joe told me that bedroom #2 has a Queen, the posting still says 2 NEW KINGS and 2 NEW TWINS.

Quick Trip for R&R
This was our first stay in Grand Caymen. The property was as pictured, and comfortable for our family of 4. The condo’s location was convenient to the airport, grocery store, and many shops/restaurants. The most outstanding feature of the property is its five-star view… from the balcony/Master Besroom/Living Room there’s a direct view of sunrise/sunset over the beach with palm trees framing the view. It’s a million dollar view.

As advertised clean perfect size near most attraction and restaurant is did not impact the stay, but it was part of a older hotel, so some of the grounds are not as manicured as you would expect pool, swim up bar was amazing. Had a great time.

Our Grounds for our condo association are maintained well how ever the hotel behind us which closed due to COVID hasn’t maintained their grounds unfortunately. In a positive it has been sold so something good will be coming to compliment our grounds since they are next to each other.

We will never stay at another property when we visit Grand Cayman. This condo was spacious, clean and directly on the beach, also central to everything you need on Seven Mile Beach!The beds were so comfy and the linens were soft and good quality. The deck is huge with a full sized dining table, hammock and lounge chair and also had a large container with nice snorkeling equipment and other beach toys. The beach and pool areas had plenty of chairs, umbrellas and shade from trees and a large bin full of floats and children's toys. The swim-up bar/grill was fabulous with great food and drinks...what a great perk for a condo! The pool is large, beautiful and well-maintained. The protected swimming area on the beach was perfect to float around, paddle board or kayak(all available on the beach for everyone's use)and the snorkeling was good outside the rock wall. I have raved about this place to everyone...we simply loved it! One day, we will be back!

Perfect Vacation Condo!
My family of 4 (all adults) stayed here in July and we enjoyed every minute! The condo is stocked with towels and kitchen accessories. The location is outstanding- the view of the ocean is gorgeous and the walk down to the beach and pool extremely easy. The pool bar is a plus- great drinks and food. Joe was easy to get in contact with and responded to questions quickly. One thing to note- the second bedroom does not have a dresser as pictured, so we ended up sharing the one in the third bedroom. We rented a car to tour the island, but there are multiple restaurants within walking distance if you don’t have one. Highly recommend this condo! We would visit again.

Amazing Stay in Paradise!
The condo is located in one of the best locations on the island situated next to many wonderful restaurants, bars, amazing beaches, downtown, etc. Joe was excellent at responding with any questions and provided several suggestions when visiting the island. The condo was as advertised and well stocked for our week long stay. We are looking forward to booking a future stay. It was clear that this was not your typical rental and included nice beds, quality furniture, and everything you need for the vacation of your dreams. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Wonderful Beachfront Condo!
We absolutely loved our stay! The condo has a great layout that made it comfortable for party if 5. It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels. The views from the balcony, master bedroom and living room are stunning. We loved the beach and pool. There were always places for us to sit and find shade. The protected swimming area is excellent for just hanging out. We followed Joe’s advice on chartering a boat and would highly recommend that.

Our family of 6, including 4 teenagers, recently stayed at Sunset Cove and had a great time. The resort is at the southern most end of 7 mile beach but the little beach out front is nice and quiet. The resort has a great pool, hottub, and pool side bar/grill that was fun to go to as well. The beach has plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The condo had a few floats that we used in the cove and that was alot of fun. We also brought our own snorkel gear and there was some good snorkeling on the reef just beyond the cove. We rented a van since there were 6 of us and we found that driving and walking to everywhere we wanted to go was easy. Governors Beach a short drive north was awesome and had plenty of parking. There are restaurants, the grocery store, and tons of liquor stores near by, many within an easy 5 minute walk. The surrounding area is safe to walk even with small kids as there is a sidewalk. The unit is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, a large living room that could accommodate all 6 of us, a big tv, and really great views of the ocean, plus great A/C. It is beach front and the primary bedroom has access to the balcony with great views of the ocean. Parking was relatively easy and there were enough spots. The location is really convenient to the airport, George Town, and Seven Mile. Several people in the complex we talked to didnt rent a car and were still able to walk to most things or take a short taxi ride to other things.

No TV in any bedrooms (the one in master does not work). The slider in master did not work only used one in living room. No closet in master and the other two rooms have a closet full of “stuff”, even with two owners closets???? We definitely enjoyed our stay but, not what we had expected for sure. Joe, please don’t respond I should have called because, when we first got there and could not locate property you did not answer the phone and I called three times. Once we had someone in pool kindly help us I then called you because to connect to Wi-Fi instructions were not correct in book you did help with that. I had another question and you told me to Google it. Trust me I would have had I had correct Wi-Fi instructions in our room.

Wow Diane! I did what I could do to accommodate you. I sent you instructions in very detail about your condo number, door code, what activities to do ect.. if there was a question I could not answer for you I directed you to google just like I do when I go on vacations. I do my best to answer most questions however like anything else I don’t have the answers to all questions. This is my personal home this is not a hotel. I do the best I can to accommodate all my guest unfortunately you feel differently. Thanks for the review.

Great place to stay. Beautiful view right on the water. This property is close to about everything on 7 mile beach. Easy check in and the amenities are great. Very large pool with swim up bar and the cove allows for great swimming and snorkeling for everyone without it being too rough in the open water.

What a lovely place to stay...
My husband and I were accompanied by our son, Eric, our daughter, Nancy and her spouse, and their son (our grand-son) Noam. We really enjoyed the 3-bedroom seafront condo. Everyone had their own space and the beach and pool were greatly appreciated. We shopped at Kirk market and enjoyed cooking in, but also appreciated eating out a few times. We had great Italian pasta and wine at CASANOVA'S in downtown Georgetown and healthy Asian food at Thai Orchid (walking distance from the condo). All in all a terrific vacation.

The condo was very clean and the location being right on the beach was amazing. It was nice waking up every morning with an ocean view. I would say the unit is updated however there are some things here and there that should be fixed (bathroom ceiling in primary, exterior patio is leaking a bit from above), but compared to over $1,000 a night hotels on Seven Mile you can't beat it. The condo technically isn't on seven mile beach, you have to walk on the road bit to get to one of the public beach accesses. This isn't a big deal, but just something to note. There wasn't any laundry detergent, Pam, ketchup stuff like that left over from other guests so you do have to buy that at the local grocery store. There are plenty of beach chairs and poolside seating available for guests, we never had trouble getting seats. There are plenty of beach towels available to use. A nice property for a reasonable price on Grand Cayman!

The condo was very comfortable for my family of 5. We enjoyed the patio overlooking the cove and got in as many sunsets as we could! My favorite part was waking up early with coffee to watch the clouds change color as the sun rose. The cove was very calm and my young kids were comfortable swimming. There were community paddle boards and a kayak which was nice. The unit had floaties, sand toys, and snorkel gear which we appreciated and used. Pool and swim up bar were fun but not a must have with the beautiful ocean right there. We would definitely stay here again!

Sunset Cove Condo
The Sunset Cove community has lovely grounds, an awesome swimming cove, soft sand, plenty of well maintained beach chairs & umbrellas and a fun pool. We ran into a few issues with our rental, unit 1663658, some of which were more impactful than others. - The air conditioning temperature is locked and the second day we arrived the unit was too hot and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Maintenance did solve the problem, but it still shouldn't have happened. - We initially couldn't connect to the internet because "SunsetCove 230" network is incorrectly listed on the property information sheet . If anyone is reading this, use "Minkin" instead. It took us longer time than needed to figure this out. Small annoyance. - The biggest problem was lack of storage. The master bedroom does not have a closet or a hanging rack - there's literally no place to hang clothes. I used the closet in the twin bedroom, but that didn't meet our needs as more than half of that closet is filled with owner supplies (tile, construction material, and an excessive amount of comforters, blankets and throw pillows far beyond what a guest could need.) We asked the owner to remove these items so we had space to unpack for our one-week stay and he declined. A off-site storage rental is needed for all of these supplies so guests have access to a clean and free closet. - The third bedroom is not a king. It's a Queen bed. Equally as important, this bedroom is entirely missing the large dresser, as shown in property pictures. There are two nightstands and a small closet. During our stay the occupants of the Queen bedroom had to live out of their suitcase for any items that couldn't hang. For the price we paid, this didn't seem right. The rest of the property is as pictured, the appliances are new and in good working order, the water pressure was fine and we had plenty of hot water. Hope this is helpful!

We had a great time at this property - the property is right on the beach with a beautiful balcony. Plenty of room for everyone and very clean! It was nice to be within walking distance to some restaurants but the Lazy Lizard at the complex was our most used resource! We had a great time and great weather!

We had a lovely time at Sunset Cove! We walked to the Kirk market about a mile away and to downtown Georgetown which was super easy! The beach was beautiful and it was a great family atmosphere for our family of 3 with our 6 year old. We could easily walk to dinner as well and we even walked to our snorkel trip pick up! The beach here is protected by the man-made cove so the beach was not as eroded as many of the surrounding resorts/condos. It was also super quiet which was very nice! The condo was well-stocked; clean and quiet; perfect for our diy all-inclusive. Pool bar has food and drinks and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. A wonderful spot

Everything exceeded our expectations! Very clean, stocked with plenty of cooking supplies, plenty of beach towels! When we were in the condo there was plenty of space for 6 adults. We spent most of our time out on the large terrace, gazing at the ocean and listening to the waves. Barely even knew there were people staying above, below and next to us. Very private terrace. Any communication with Joe was fast and courteous. The pool and swim up bar was nice to have, to grab a drink or quick snack. Perfect location for all we wanted to do.

Beautiful condo with spectacular views! Amazing beach with protected cove steps from your doorway which was great for our young kids. Also a great pool, shallow pool, and hot tub. Joe was fantastic. We also rented a new Jeep from him, which was a great addition to our trip. In addition, the recommendation by Joe to charter a boat with Allen was our favorite part of the trip! Watching the sunsets from the giant balcony on this property was unmatched. We will be back!
