“The Inn is beautiful and the staff very welcoming. My room was spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The location is directly across the street from the USNA. I skipped breakfast, but the offerings looked lovely. Will definitely stay here again. ”

Window AC was below average in sweltering heat and not the best. Nice seating and tables, just small. When there was an issue, owner was on top of it. “My husband and I’s mini-honeymoon stay at the Wayside Inn was great! The room we had was clean, spacious, charming, and cozy all at once. Mr. Joe the innkeeper was very friendly and was always there when we needed him for anything. He also cooks a mean breakfast and has a great knowledge of the unique history of the property. Overall, it was a great place to get away from the bustle and noise of the city and just relax! Hopefully we will get to come back soon 😊”

“The overall stay was nice, check in information was not listed but once I reached out to owner they were quick to respond. The only few complaints I have is that 1) there was a fire alarm that I believe had low battery so it was beeping frequently which was a little annoying 2) the room next to the kitchen was filled with storage boxes and other things that wasn’t picture - a lot of the pictures featured I would say are a little outdated and not as accurate 3) the kitchen light switch didn’t……
