We had an AMAZING stay at Mother's Dream! The view is incredible and Shaun Kelly was super responsive with any questions/concerns we had. We will definitely be using Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals TN again in the future if we are staying in that area. There were a few issues we had with the pool heater, but they were addressed promptly and professionally, along with my family having pool maintenance knowledge and getting it running right away if needed. We needed more propane for the grill and Shaun brought it over within an hour. perfect location to relax and hang out with family. My toddlers LOVED the pool. Excellent stay overall! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here! The views were absolutely stunning. Everything was clean and well kept. It was decorated beautiful and very spacious. Our only "complaint" was the pool was very cold, and the living room furniture could use some updating but neither are really complaints because both were still just fine!

Amazing views
This cabin had the best of everything we needed. It was a struggle to find a cost effective cabin that had an indoor and was pet friendly and with good views. The only improvement would be the downstairs master bedroom, the bed was very hard. Also the upstairs smallest bathroom the toilet wasn’t very clean. But we were able to fix that with a quick Clorox wipe didn’t really warrant us complaining though I’m sure if we had complained someone would have come to clean it. But honestly this place was amazing and really did give us everything we need and more. I have seen some of the reviews complain about the appliances and while they aren’t high end, they do the trick and do work. The couches were a little worn but are very comfy so we didn’t mind at all.

Most of the time the complaints regarding a non-working fridge is because they were filled full of room temperature items. It does take it much longer to cool everything off. Great Cabin Views
The cabin was Awsome, but needed a few updates with the bed mattress they was really worn out and had sunken in grooves on both sides of the king bed on the first and second level. Living room furniture was nice but the leather on the couch and loveseat was starting to crack n peel off. But the upside of the cabin was the views was the best I ever had in the Smokies.

7 of us stayed for a week. House was perfect. Plenty for all of us to be entertained. Everything was extremely clean. But above all the view of the mountains took our breath away. We are already talking about re booking for our next trip. Highly recommended!!

Thank you so much for staying with us. We appreciate your comments. The pool is a salt water system that makes its own chlorine. We typically do not get issues with these types of pools. Our records indicate there were no issues reported during your stay regarding the pool. However, we did make our pool vendor aware of your comments. We do have our pool vendor inspect/ clean the pool on a 2-5 day rotation whether the cabin is rented or not. We certainly hope this does not prevent you from visiting again. Please do come back to see us again.

Fantastic stay
Our family really enjoyed staying at Mother’s Dream. The mountain views on the extended porch and the indoor pool were the most popular places we hung out. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for our group of 9. I would say this cabin is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at and would definitely recommend!

Million Dollar View
This was the property I had my heart set on. When Mom stepped out onto the deck and said "it's perfect" with a tear in her eye, I realized it truly was a Mother's Dream. Well appointed, clean, just amazing. The drive up the mountain is a little hairy but the views are well worth it.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway
This was our first family vacation with our 6 month old daughter, and the home was absolutely fabulous! The views were amazing, the house was cozy, relaxing and a joy to be at. We loved the pool and the hot tub too. Overall, I'd recommend anyone stay at Mother's Dream. It was, as the name claims, a dream :)

Wonderful Cabin for family
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The check-in and checkout process was easy and the pool was amazing for kids! Everything was seamless and if we had a question or needed something they were just a call away. We definitely plan to return!

Great views! Fun stay!
This cabin has spectacular views! We rented this cabin for the private pool and hot tub. Both were incredible. A clean cabin with everything we needed as a family of 8 and our dog. Our grill needed repair and the manager came and brought a new grill right away. We were blown away by the fast and polite response. He even stayed while we bombarded him with a lot of questions regarding the area since we are from Minnesota. We highly recommend going with this company! This cabin was quiet, peaceful and calm which was what our busy family needed. Close to a lot of attractions if you are looking for that too. Thank you for the wonderful cabin and service!

We had a wonderful time. The pool and hot tub were awesome and well kept. We were disappointed in the cleanliness. We had to clean the filter of the dishwasher, it had clogged it was so dirty. The oven smoked out the house when used. The fans threw dust all over, it was caked on the bars that hold the fans. Dusty everywhere. We found socks from previous renters on floor of master bedroom. Mold in shower in master bath and on sink in kitchen. Would recommend this rental but would also recommend different cleaning company or have someone come in a do a deep clean

Great Views and Location! A few inconveniences...
This cabin had amazing views and was very conveniently located. Checking in was a breeze and all communication with the staff was easy and friendly. However, the cabin is definitely in need of some updates for the price (in our opinion). The ice maker did not work. In fact it would just leak water so the ice bucket would just fill with a solid block of water. We had to keep it shut off but keep the bucket there for fear of water leaking. So getting bags of ice from the store but also having limited freezer room was a pain for the entire trip. Also, the couches were not as advertised on the listing. They were completely different red leather couches and were much less comfortable and accommodating for our party size than expected. There were also no extra blankets for the couches which I thought was weird. The bed linens were uncomfortable and the comforters and shams smelled as though they had never been washed. I had to keep them on the floor because of the smell. The bathroom lights in the upstairs attached bath were probably incorrect bulbs for the fixture because they just kept flashing like a strobe light and we had to unscrew 2 of the 3 to not get a headache. The floors (especially the stairs down the the pool area) are very scratched and scuffed and look pretty dirty. Very few of the outlets in the pool area worked and there was no stereo like it is advertised in the listing pictures so anytime we wanted to play music we had to frequently change our speaker and take it to another room to charge. The pool was also freezing and so even though we booked this cabin for the sole reason of having the pool, we barely used it. 2 TV remotes had dead batteries. I suppose it does not advertise any products but the kitchen did not even have salt and pepper... I've never stayed at a short term rental that didn't at least have s&p and a few other small things to make the stay more enjoyable. The HVAC system did not work properly and the upstairs was always extremely hot while the first floor was always extremely cold. The fireplace did not seem to put off any heat and we had no blankets to snuggle up on the uncomfortable couches. Booking in the winter, most of our days were spent in the cabin so it was hard to get comfortable. All in all, we had a great time. The views were amazing and there was enough space, but before I would book again for this price, I strongly suggest a few upgrades and perhaps a more thorough clean in between turnover.

Wow. That is a lot of information to hear only now. We will schedule someone to look at the ice maker and get this corrected. Yes, the couches have been updated and are newer than the ones in the photos. Extra blankets are in the dresser drawers of each bedroom and were found there during our inspection today (2/2/23). If the bed linens were as bad as you claim we would have been glad to exchange them for you. There are extra sets in the cabins which allow us to launder the primary comforters that are used. We will look into those as well just to play it safe. There are typically extra light bulbs in the kitchen cabinets. We would have been glad to change the light bulbs for you or if at the very least deliver some new ones for you to use. We keep the pool temperature between 80-82 degrees year-round. Unfortunately, some people prefer it to be much higher like a bath temperature or hot tub. The pool temperature at 80-82 degrees is fine but does require guests to move around in the pool to be active and get acquainted with the temperature. The fireplace in the living room is a gas fireplace. If it was turned on you should definitely be able to tell it is heating. We will look into that to make sure the pilot lite is on and will actually ignite all the flames when turned on. We will definitely look at the HVAC settings and address accordingly with our HVAC vendor. Again, we could have made your stay a bit more enjoyable had we known there were any issues. Five days prior to your visit we do send an email out to to our guests to help them better prepare for their trip and vacation. That emails lists out what we do not provide and what we do provide. Spices including salt and pepper are things we do not provide. I am glad overall you had a great time. Just disappointed that some of these issues brought up could have been addressed or at the least better planned for us to address after your stay if you did not want to be disturbed.

Beautiful Property w/ Fun Amenities
This was a great property for our annual cabin trip. The pool is amazing and was a fun addition to relax in if you don’t want to brace the cold and use the hot tub. The view is beautiful when the sun rises/sets over the mountains. The check-in instructions weren’t sent out until a few hours before arrival time which I understand for privacy. Additionally, there are many rules enforced when staying at this property which seemed a bit excessive and there are cleaning expectations prior to check-out, but overall the stay was enjoyable.

Although the hot tub wasn’t ready for us and the sheets were not changed on one of the beds, this is a beautiful cabin with an amazing view. For the price you pay to rent here, it should’ve been cleaner. The bathroom in the pool area was not cleaned either. The pool is such an incredible luxury to have, especially with kids. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin. Hopefully the cleaning company gets it together.

Thank you for your review. The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled after every departure. Depending on the time our cleaners perform this task may mean the hot tub will be cold upon arrival. This was explained when you called. Furthermore, you mentioned the bed did not seem like it was changed. We offered to come and change it again, but you had already used some extra sheets left in the cabin. You declined our service to address these concerns. Unfortunately, our notes do not reflect you reported the bathroom in the pool area during your stay. Nonetheless, we would have been happy to address these items had we been given the opportunity. We are glad you still had a good time and enjoyed the cabin despite these minor inconveniences.

Amazing pool
The salt water pool really made this a 5 star property. It was clean, heated, surprisingly large and overall beautiful. I know it costs a fortune to heat a pool like that, so it felt like a big luxury. The mountain views were also great. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Getaway
My parents, my husband and I, and our dogs enjoyed our mid winter getaway. The cabin was open and comfortable with plenty of windows and decking to enjoy the wonderful views. The indoor pool was a bonus to have in February. There was also a nice area by the parking spaces to let the dogs out and nice paved roads to take them for walks. We all had a relaxing and enjoyable time here.

Close to Pigeon Forge. Kitchen is well equipped. Views are awesome and the pool is great for everyone. We had six adults and six kids, there was plenty of room for everyone. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our first time visiting here at Mother's dream cabin, It was amazing, it's such a beautiful cabin with a lots of space for everyone, very clean and most amazingly is the view. Perfect weekend getaway
The entire house was gorgeous and roomy. There was 6 adults and 6 kids and it was the perfect amount of space needed for us. Having the gaming area upstairs while you can relax on the main floor or in the basement in the pool. The pictures does NO JUSTICE to the size of the pool actually. It’s bigger than the pictures lead on. We assumed it would be a tiny pool (and we were ok with that) but it wasn’t. It was BIG! We loved it. Especially the kids. The hot tub was the perfect addition too. Only thing negative if I “had to say a negative ” is it would’ve been nice to already have the hot tub hot on arrival. Couldn’t use it til the next day. Didn’t heat up in time to enjoy. But it was perfect by morning. We truly enjoyed the cabin.

Thank for staying with us. Yes, sometimes guest can check in with the hot tub being cold. The reason for this is because we drain the hot tubs to clean them. When we fill them back up it can take 4-6 hours for the temperature to rise before it is suitable to use. Unfortunately, there is no way around this scenario. Glad you still got to enjoy it. My Dream Cabin
We stayed in Mother’s Dream Cabin for a week.. it was awesome !! Clean and spacious, decorated for Christmas with a tree and all. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The indoor pool and game room was great.. kids had a good time. We cooked a Gumbo and enjoyed the fireplace ‼️ I definitely recommend this place you won’t be disappointed 🙂 Oh and the sun coming up over the mountains in the morning is memory you won’t forget ❤️

The house was awesome. The kids just wanted to hang out in the pool. We had to drag them out to explore all the fun. It’s so close to so many fun things and the views are amazing!

Great Location and Amenities
We had a wonderful time here. May want to have the HVAC serviced. It got quite warm, and was putting out ambient air, not very cold both zones. Pool and hot tub were great and the million dollar views were breathtaking.

The View
We appreciated being told up front about the supplies such as toilet paper and towels so we were prepared. We loved the Christmas decorations and the fireplace was beautiful. But the view -WOW- with those windows, we enjoyed going out to the balcony each day. The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. The cabin was very spacious and we had a great stay. A few observations the pool table needs a little tightening, the hot tub needed more water and the cabin itself needs a thorough cleaning there’s a lot of old dirt built up in the kitchen near the refrigerator and in the first floor bathroom. But none of these items would prevent us from coming back, it’s a beautiful cabin with a spectacular view.

Wonderful cabin!
Place was phenomenal, like having your own hotel with an indoor pool and games. Had a couple minor issues with some things needing maintenance, but it happens and Shaun was always available and had people out right away to address them. Already looking to book for next year! You won’t regret this one.

Spectacular views
This cabin has the most spectacular views around! I don't have a lot of negative comments, just one that needs to be addressed. The owner needs to purchase new bath towels. The ones supplied were brown and very worn and tattered. Not really big enough to wrap around your body. We washed the towels supplied because there obviously wasn't enough towels to use for the pool and hot tub and we read that upfront. No big deal, but the one thing an owner should have in a cabin this nice are large white towels. Other than that, loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Glad you had a good time and enjoyed the cabin. We did switch from white to the brown towels. We lose so many white ones. We are sorry if you felt the towels were so worn out. Our staff has the freewill to remove worn out and/or stained towels at their leisure. We would have been happy to replace them if you felt it was necessary. We hope to see you all again.

Love the views....Love the house!!
Nice place, but bring toilet paper paper towel and trash bags. Low qty on towels as well. Had to wash them a lot. Also the ice maker in fridge does not work.

Glad you guys like the cabin. Yes, we only supply starter rolls of toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels. We do not supply pool towels, but we do supply 1 bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per person that the cabin sleeps. All this is in the email confirmation we send and the cabin does have a washer and dryer. Thank you for letting us know about the fridge. We will have our staff look into it.

Mothers Dream House Smokeys
Wonderful house for a family. We all loved the pool. Kids swam everyday for hours. View wonderful from our deck and living room.

Breath Taking!
Absolutely amazing views. It is called Smokey Mountains, it truly looked like smoke on the mountains. Everyday was a unique different view. The highlight was when we saw a bear as we drove up to the house. We loved every part of the home, we did not want to leave.

Amazing property
The property was clean, peaceful, comfortable and in a beautiful location with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The pool and hot tub were very nice. We felt very safe there and had the best time. We loved sitting on the deck rocking chairs or even in the family room looking out the large wall of windows into the mountains.
