We arrived early but we're shown straight to our room. The room was a good size with a very clean bathroom. The bathroom was of a good size with a walk in shower. The breakfast menu was more than adequate, enabling a cooked breakfast, cereal or fruit every day. The quality of the breakfast was excellent. The location was great, allowing a short walk into town or the old town and a lift ride to the seafront. This is a bonus after a long day out, as getting to and from the evening meal location was easy. Parking was simple and although a small area I managed to park my car off the road every day. Overall we had a great weeks holiday using the hotel as a base.

We had a large , comfortable en-suite room on the ground floor. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, always beautifully cooked and presented. Sally was a friendly, helpful host and we will definitely stay at Snowden house if we return to the island.

What a lucky find. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice. Friendly hosts. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. Nothing to complain about. Would certainly recommend.

Well worth a visit!

A very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with a wide range of options to choose from. Snowdon House is a great base for exploring the local area and also for travelling further afield. The hotel is advertised as having free parking available. It is worth noting that on the whole this is only off street parking and at busy times you may have to park nearby and walk back to the hotel but this is only a minor issue. We would definitely stay here again.
