This was my worst ever hotel experience. Ignorance, incompetence, and shady practices.
I arrived late at night and they told me my room was under repair. I said just give me a different room, and they said they couldn't do that--I would have to cancel the room and upgrade to a new room, and pay upfront. I did that, haven't received my refund on the canceled room yet, and the replacement room smelled like mold.
They don't speak English and don't know how to help you with routine hotel business like changing rooms, checking out, and cancelling reservations.
It took a long time for the staff to look up my reservation. They are not professional, have little experience dealing with non-residents. I reserved a one-bedroom but was given a two-bedroom that has water dripping for the whole night right outside the window.

its location is nice, however, the room is small... you still need to park somewhere else since it doesn't have a large enough parking lot
I have stayed at a lot of hotels in the area. And do far this has been the one with the best value for money.
Its clean, and the furniture is not worn down. With one of those thing usualy being an issue elsewhere at that price.
If you just need a place to sleep for a night or two. i would highly recommend this place.
Dont bother with the breakfeast though. The buffet consisted of factory made baozi, some not so fresh noodles, watermelon, and bread you could toast...while there were both butter and one kind of jam. There was nothing to spread it with other than chopsticks
The contrast between top-class sanitary utensils against a rather worn-out and dusty table.
The room is compact, ok for a business hotel (inn).
Very close to underground and that is my main reason for choosing it.
There is a Walmart within 5-minutes walking distance.
Generally it was not a bad experience. The area where the hotel is located is very close to Window of the World, which is imho the best of the city. The hotel itself is clean and has a beautiful view, especially on the last floor. The rooms are comfortable and sweety even if very small.
But, my colleagues and me experienced some bad things such as:
- none speaks English which makes pretty hard let them know we had a reservation on hotels....
- it is very common (and actually I do not have an explanation yet) the everyone scream, walk and smoke in the hallway. Chinese people just left their room doors opened like everything was shared... no idea why...
- Do not expect international breakfast or food. The diktat is “you are in China, you play like a Chinese” that could be acceptable if the hotel charge was cheap.
- Do not expect any kind of service by their staff, nor a taxi call...
Given that, we booked 3 weeks in this hotel but we decided to leave it after the first weekend. Not bad but not a place to be
