did not get to stay, many customs issues ,did not know had check point in hong kong also that was my stop first then I miss my flight and hotel did not honor my file for next day say don't have record and the office don't speak good English. so from hk to Shenzhen need customs again I thought all was same . I'm still stuck in hong kong with out a guide as of feb, 14th to get to Shenzhen china , but thanks

I chose this hotel because of it's location, and the fact that it had a breakfast. The location is good, the green line metro is close by, and the pedestrian district is a short walk away. The room was ample size to sleep in, not more, not less. We had to change rooms after 3 days, since the ceiling starter leaking water in the bathroom. They got us a new room in no time. Tried to get a room upgrade, but we didn't get it ;-) The room was clean, and didn't smell of smoke at all. The view is onto the street, which is bit loud, as you have cars honking all day-night. But you have that everywhere in China, so that's not the hotels fault :-) The breakfast is not a Western breakfast, it's Chinese. Don't expect any breakfast items you would find in the West. This was a big hotel, so I thought they would have a gym, but no. Nobody at the hotel spoke English, which was weird considering that hotels are tourist destinations after all...

Worn but comfortable
Great neighborhood. Hotel is worn, but comfortable by China standards. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always someone on duty that speaks English. Breakfast is not worth the effort or time . . .there are a lot of better places near by. WiFi is free but signal is weak so if you are counting on WiFi to work you may not want to stay here. The price was at the top end of too much for what you get.

The whole experience was really bad, the only thing good is the location near the Pedestrian Street, other than that it was a nightmare. The service is really bad, very rude, almost like if they didnt want you there. Matter of fact, it should say ONLY CHINESE ARE WELCOME. The bathroom was not working properly, told them and nothing was done. The breakfast, was empty only a potato, and one boiled egg. One dead cockroach near the buffet area. Told them, they say to bad, nothing can be done, Almost sarcastic, call the manager and he pretended not to understand english. Very obvious that the service and standards are way bellow to the ones you can expect in some places in deep Africa, not in Shenzhen. Anyways, never again, not even for FREE, it can spoiled the mood of the getway with the family.

Usual chinese grotty carpets, Large room, helpful friendly cleaner. Bathroom has the huge interior window so awkward if need the bathroom in night and forget to close blinds first. Use Guamo MTR then up thru swanky Kingsglory mall exit at Rimowa shop and its oppo fire station. Breakfast for the fearless but u can get some hard boiled eggs. Its OK.

Location is great, 5 min walk to tourism hotspot. Hotel design looks classic, room space is decent. The cleariness of the toilet is alittle off and air vent does smells abit but i get used to it after awhile.

Good location
Third stay at hotel. Location within walking distance to eateries, shopping, movies day and night markets, supermarket and metro. Room was comfortable and serviced well. Chinese style breakfast just OK and could be lot better if food kept warm. Coffee and tea also cold. Generally good hotel.

The hotel service was very good. Friendly staff. Good massage and conference sections. Business center, albeit small, can do basic things including travel reservations. The English understood by staff is very limited but with patience sufficient. Location is few minutes stroll to shopping, pedestrian street, restaurants, buses and metro. Breakfast is of poor quality unless your very early while everything is hot. I have stayed here previously and will stay again.

Hotel staff very helpful, located close to the metro, rooms clean and well kept. I stayed there for two weeks and never had any problems, really close to many places to shop. can walk to anyplace and find many good restaurants in the area.

Comfortable stay
The hotel once shows signs of being a great hotel. However, lack of maintenance shows. Still a reasonable hotel, but overpriced for what it now offers. The hotel was very busy with lots of functions and external patrons to dine. Could clean the floors better. Breakfast is typical Chinese and to my taste, very good. Lack of internet facilities in the room was a major draw back, with Wi-Fi only available in the lobby. Service was good, even if little English spoken.

I've stayed in a number of hotels in the Shenzhen area and the fact that everything in the room was in working order was refreshing. Nice lounge chairs and televisions in each room and good wireless. The value was fantastic and the location very convenient for travel around Shenzhen with proximity to the high speed rail and the subway. I would not recommend the free breakfast and you better have some Chinese language ability to check in.

Nice Hotel near to Amenities and convenient place
Luohu hotel is situated at the heart of the Luohu. It has best of both worlds, with a traditional chinese interior design, it also boasts a warm ambience with state-of-the-art furniture.With the wireless internet service, guests need not worry about keeping in touch with their loved ones abroad. Nice buffet breakfast - choice of Japanese food or buffet with local delight. It is also near to MRT,making it convenient for guests to travel around to different parts of Shenzhen. In the hotel, there is two restaurants - a nice Japanese Restaurant with quality food - price is on the High side. The other, a western food restaurant. All staffs in restaurant and at front desk are very helpful, courteous and alert. It is great to have a 7-11 convenient store situated at hotel lobby which gives customer the convenient to buy any daily necessities that may be left out or rather forgotten to bring. Room is always neat and tidy - promptly clean. It should be highly recommended. Near to Luohu station - which is only a station away. Easy accessible with Taxi. Many places of interest - for food, shopping, massage. It is an ideal location for businessmen or women.

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. English skills good enough to communicate--often would go find someone else with English. Breakfast 95% Asian. Did not see a vacuum during my stay. Odor in bathroom, looked like no sink trap, but keeping water in it did not help. Stayed 6 days, but then paid the extra $40 per day to move to the Panglin--worth it, much nicer.

SAFE AND CLEAN
Safe and clean and in a good area this was an OK place to stay. My room was smallish and smelled of smoke and had an ashtray despite being a non smoking room-a problem for me. Also the Chinese breakfast was pretty terrible and most of the dishes were empty and non refilled. Quite close to the terrific and famous Luohu port shopping building where there are 6 stories of genuine ripoffs of every kind-don't miss it.

Good Hotel
Luoho Hotel is good hotel with reasonable English speaking staff. Only problem was communicating about breakfast as we were vegetarian & wasn't sure if noodles breakfast menu was cooked in vegetarian oil. So survived with bread & butter & coffee. Even restaurant manager wasn't able understand when I asked her if any of the items are vegetarian.

Its a very good hotel...value for money !!!! The map location on hotels.com website is wrongly mentioned as close to Laojie Metro station.... But Actually its about 2-3 blocks from Guamao Metro Station. Overall its a very good value hotel for business trips... I hope they can improve on breakfast as it is mainly for chinese people.....

when i booked i was informed there were no-smoking rooms. guess what? as soon as i walked into my room i was greeted with a ashtray and a strong cigerete smell. after calling the front desk and having my wife yelled at by the maid. they admitted there is no non-smoking rooms. we checked out went to another hotel definitly a un-pleaeant experience.

I have stayed maybe 50 hotel nights in Shenzhen during the last 20 years and this is one of better value for money hotels. Great location within 2 minute off the subway exit at GuoMao, and it is on smaller street so not noisy like the rest of the city. If the management is reading: 1. enforce non-smoking rules more strictly; 2. Shampoo your carpets. 3. Ask the caterer of breakfast to provide free coffee as there are foreigners like me who wants a cup in the morning. Otherwise staff is friendly, when things break down (like the door lock) at 11 pm, there was a repairman right away. I will stay there again next time, no reason to switch around.

If you are looking for something cheap and just to sleep, then yes go ahead and book this hotel. I asked for a non-smoking room, but smokers from other levels still smoke, you can smell it through the vents. The towels all had stains which I did not even use, I went to walmart to buy a new one. The breakfast wasn't bad, but more for Chinese guests. Service wasn't the best. The girls at the reception do not have a good attitude, they dont greet you or make you feel welcome. I guess its just how people are in Shenzhen. You have to give a 500RMB deposit when you check-in. Would have been nice if I was told before hand, luckily I already had some RMB in hand. But they do give it back to you when you check-out. The hotel location is pretty easy accessable to the subway which is a block away. Right across the hotel is KingGlory Plaza a big shopping mall. Not too far from Walmart and cafes. Like I said, if you want to find a place just to sleep, then go ahead and book it, but bring your own towels.

チェックイン当時、浴槽付の部屋の空きがなく、シャワーのみの部屋となったのがマイナス点。後日(といっても三日後…）浴室付に移動。経営者が変わったせいなのか部屋割りがうまくいっていない。但し、ここの従業員の対応は満足のいくものであった。今後も利用する予定。
