Best vacation!

If you are looking for remote...this is the place! What an amazing property. We went to bed listening to running water of the creek right in the backyard, and woke up looking at the beautiful mountains in the distance. A very short to drive to the NE Entrance of Yellowstone and the picturesque Lamar Valley. The property is everything I pictured and more. Isiah, the manager, was very helpful and informative. I could go on and on about how great this place is, but you need to see for yourself just how beautiful it really is. We hope to back someday.

Absolutely wonderful!
I cannot say enough nice things about this rental. The owner, Kip, and the on-site caretakers, Hunter and Isaiah, were so friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had. The cabin was clean and welcoming and looks just like the pictures. When we weren't off hiking and exploring, we spent our time in the beautiful sunroom and on the deck overlooking the creek. It's so private back there it almost felt like we were the only ones around. There is even a huge bison who likes to hang around the area. We met him on a walk along the road (and got out of his way) and then later he wandered onto the property to take a nap. The cabin has easy access to the park and the towns of Silver Gate and Cooke City are cute with a couple of restaurants and shops between them. I don't have one bad thing to say about this rental and I will recommend it to everyone I know. If you book a stay here, you won't regret it. I will absolutely come back to this location again.

Cozy Cabin with Breathtaking Views
Incredible stay with many memories and life experiences to take with us.. The cabin was charming and super clean! Host were just a call away to help with any questions you might have regarding guided hikes, Yellowstone tours, and excellent places to eat in Cooke City. We definitely recommend going horseback riding through Yellowstone and driving Beartooth Highway. I promise you won’t want to leave!

Great stay!
We stayed here for 5 nights and found this the perfect getaway to check out Yellowstone. Park is only 1 mile away and beat Lamar baker where the big animals hang out. The house itself had everything we need- including a beautiful enclosed as well as open air porch overlooking the river and mountains, a beautiful master bedroom with a view of the mountains and a fire pit near the creek. We also loved the sauna which you can pair with a dip in the cold river. Highly recommend!

Montana Log Cabin
Our family LOVED the Cooke City / Silver Gate location. The owner, John, could not have been more helpful. His recommendations were spot on… trails, fishing spots, restaurants, atv rental, grocery store… he is a wealth of information and is happy to share. We had an AMAZING vacation and would highly recommend staying here!!!

Just perfect
There would hardly be a place that one can find in yellow stone that's better than this. John has added everything that you can think of to this amazing stay- pool table, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor seating, an amazing sun room and multiple outdoor seating areas. There was nothing that I felt was missing here and then you have amazing mountain views while sitting on the creek side. Animals come and go, a bunch of mooses, a weasel and many birds visited us. This is very close to Lamar valley so you get to see a plenty of wild with just 20 mins drive. On the top of all this it has high speed internet. We loved the place so much we increased our stay. John is very helpful and is just a message away.

A great cabin
We loved our stay at this cabin in Silver Gate. The highlights were being creekside, having wildlife literally on our doorstep and the beautiful mountains around us. The cabin was really cosy even when we had a significant snow fall. John did everything he could to make sure we had a great stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals; the beds were comfy and the billiard table an open fire a bonus.

Location, Location, Location.
Can’t beat the location as it’s 1 mile from Yellowstone and 3 miles from ATV trails. George was an excellent host and full of knowledge about the cabin and area. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit area that was literally feet from the creek with gorgeous, quiet and private views of the mountains. On 2 occasions we saw moose outside of Yellowstone. We will be back!

The stay was spectacular. We had everything we needed. Enjoyed breakfast on the nice large table in the sunroom overlooking the views of 2 glorious mountain peaks. Loved the 100 year old door. Had a great time by the fire pit roasting hot dogs and mellows. The inside fireplace was cozy while playing pool. Would definitely stay here again. Last but not least, HUCKLEBERRY MARGERITAS for a good time!!!!

Tremendous Place in an Excellent Location
This property was exactly what our family was looking for. It provided us with a great place to get away from our home and it was an excellent home base for us as we wanted to specifically watch wildlife in Yellowstone. There was enough space for our teens to get away when they wanted/needed and yet multiple spaces for us to come together and gather as well. We ate at least one meal a day and the kitchen was very well equipped. Overall this property was better equipped than any of the 20-30 that we've stayed at throughout the US. I would highly recommend and we would happily return the next time we come to the greater Yellowstone area.

We went to Montana to celebrate our sons high school graduation. We were hoping to see Yellowstone, relax after Covid craziness, hike, and just be together. Honestly, we could not have asked for a more perfect place to do that than Silvergate and this cabin. It was a beautiful setting, the restaurants were amazing, the property managers were very helpful and enjoyable to talk to. We laughed a lot, went on huge hikes, ate too much, slept comfortably and met some amazing people. It was a very good week!

Great Location
This is a wonderful property in a charming community. The house was very comfortable-lots of room. Master bedroom is beautiful! Other two bedrooms are small, but comfortable. Beautiful back deck that faces the river and mountains. Loved the proximity to the town of Silvergate as we had access to a great General Story, restaurant, and ice cream! Very close to the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone--if you want to see wildlife and do not like crowds, then this is where you want to be!

Closest to wild life
George the onsite property manager was a wealth of information. He had great advice and local shops. This location was perfect because it was away from the hustle and crowds at the west gate area and nearest to the North American Serengeti. We viewed black bears, wolves and bison in the park. We witnessed a river otter and moose from the cabin itself which is on a stream. Easy walk to a convenience store to fill in needed items as no grocery store is near the property. Bring coolers and purchase your groceries at one of the larger towns when driving in. Montana in my opinion was much prettier than the geyser area and a great area for hikes. We rarely ran into anyone on the trails. We live in Colorado but all agreed this Montana location is the best we have stayed at out of our numerous mountain stays.

Absolutely stunning back porch views!
This was the perfect place for our traveling party of 6. The cabin is amazing! Clean, well appointed, easy to get to! The northeast entrance to Yellowstone is a hidden gem as is this sweet cabin. We will hopefully be back again!
