Excellent location for family ski trip

Outstanding Stay
Seven family members met to ski for the week. We had plenty of space to relax and spread out. With a heated garage we had plenty of space for all the ski gear too. This location is perfect for resort hopping. We were able to ski at a different mountain each day and come home to the meals we had prepped and brought along. The hot tub and fireplace, 2 sets of laundry machines, and nearly every appliance we could wish for made our stay quite comfortable. The host was also very attentive. The stove was replaced during our stay. There was a little mishap with the appliance dealer but the host remedied the situation promptly and made sure we didn’t miss a meal.

Our family had a great time visiting the surrounding areas of Silverthorne, Dillon and Breckenridge. Great communication with the owner. Beautiful views, family loved the jacuzzi. Lots of seating and beds for all 13 of us.

Colorado Rocks
We had the best week visiting Colorado! This house was so warm and cozy and perfect for our extended family! We made so many great memories, and we cannot wait to come back! We skied Keystone, Vail and Breckenridge and loved them all! Owners were very friendly, responsive helpful! I would recommend this place to everybody looking to enjoy Colorado!

Perfect getaway with friends
We loved our time at the Grande Summit Lodge! Mike was very responsive, easy communication, easy check in and check out process. Hot tub was great! All in all, a perfect weekend away with good friends (epic snow was a bonus).

Great House overall
The space was perfect for a large group. The long table in the kitchen had enough seats for our group of 11 which was awesome! The hot tub was a huge bonus and used every day. The heated garage was a plus. We had to open the doors/windows to get cool air as it was quick to get toasty. Some of the appliances could use some work or be replaced. The owner responded very quickly when a problem was mentioned. Overall the owner had great communication throughout the process except for 1 small incident with maintenance men, but was quick to apologize and discuss changes to the process. I would choose to stay here again.

Great home and location
We celebrated a milestone birthday with a week in beautiful Silverthorne and this property was the hub of it all. Great accommodations and amenities, wonderful, attentive hosts, and clear instructions for check-in and check-out. I would highly recommend this beautiful home that is roomy and provides easy access to many surrounding areas.

Great House!
Plenty of room in this house. Very clean and believe me when I tell you I am VERY picky about that. Sits on a busy street so opening windows can be noisy but we had a wonderful time and Mike was a great host.

Beautiful sparkling clean property! Loved the hot tub and amazing kitchen space…. Huge group slept comfortably. FYI: There are a lot of rules that aren’t posted on the listing…. Only 4 cars can be parked at the property and hot tub hours, noise level etc.

Great property for family gatherings.
We do a family ski trip each year. This property worked very well for us. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen/dining area was large enough to enjoy meals together. Very nice and would recommend this property to other large groups. Thanks for sharing your home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Keep in mind that parking is tight, so multiple vehicles are tricky. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of linens & the place was clean. The owner was easily reachable and quickly responded to questions and concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

The communications were awesome, although there was not much needed because the place was perfect. Everyone liked their beds, the place was spotless clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly to me their checkout procedures were easy this is a far cry from some of the other checkout procedures that I have dealt with at other houses.

Incredible week long stay
Cannot recommend this house/host/location enough. We came for my sisters wedding and had an absolute blast. Very convenient location and close to everything! Only thing I’d note as a tip for future guests is if you have smaller children (we had 2 babies/2 toddlers) make sure to bring your sound machines for naps. Aside from that, the owners have wonderful people cleaning and maintaining the home. The kitchen is stocked with every essential. They even sent us an activity guide for things to do in the area! You won’t regret it.

We had a great time exploring Silverthorne, Frisco, and Breckinridge. Other than the hike to Lake Dillion Reservoir, the distance to Starbucks i(less than 3 miles.) was this vacations biggest hit. The house accommodated our crazy crew.

Nice and would stay here again! A bit noisy being close to the road up the mountain. Parking space limited considering the number of people who can stay in the rental. Spacious kitchen/dining/living area for family gatherings.

We had a great family reunion with 20+ people between this property and the adjacent property next door. Couldn't have asked for nicer accommodations. We'd come back in a heartbeat, except that we rotate these reunions around the country.

Lots of space for large group cooking and meals, as well as beautiful space around the fireplace for groups to sit and talk or play games. It’s very conveniently located. The hosts were welcoming and flexible, even offering early check-in due to the big winter storm coming in. Lots of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms.

Awesome Ski House
After a terrible experience with another property/owner…this house and their owners were a dream to rent from!! House is in perfect location for Vail, Breck, and Keystone day trips. Town of Silverthorne and Dillon are amazing - very easy process and location overall. Our group will probably be back next year!

Great house for a large group
The house was perfect for our large group of 10 adults. Allowing us enough room to gather together or have our own space to go if needed. The house was clean including the garage space where we kept our sports gear. The heated garage was also a bonus so we didn't have cold gear in the mornings. Mike was a great host and was very responsive to all our questions and concerns.

Great access to area ski resorts for you and all your friends/family
We had 8 adults stay with us at this property and it was very comfortable. The kitchen and dining room was more than big enough to allow preparing a large meal or for several people to make breakfast at the same time. Beds were comfortable. The double washer dryer was a great plus. Parking was a bit tight which required shuffling our three large vehicles around if party departure times were not aligned.

My family, ages 2-65, loved our time at the Wildernest Grande Summit house. The ample amount of rooms and beds was perfect for siblings and their spouses, and bunk room was great for the kids! Mike was great to communicate with about any questions throughout our stay. Would love to stay again and definitely recommend others to stay here!

Central Location. Close to all slopes and great restaurants.
This location is perfect for a family gathering. It has ample space for 12 people and the kitchen and living room are one large gathering place that serve the entire family in a variety of conversations and activities. The dining table fits all 12 and make for a wonderful dining experience. The view from the deck is of Keystone while you relax in the Hot tub.

Incredible!!! Look no further!
There too many things incredible things to write, so I will try and make it short! The first beginning with the location— to be 5 minutes from town/groceries, 10 min to keystone and A-basin, 20 to Breck and Copper and 35 from Vail was truly incredible. The skiing was great and LOVED coming back to a hot tub post ski day. So easy to get to house from the highway— if you have a group who wants to do different things, this is the location! The second and most important was how incredible Mike was. The dishwasher had been leaking and Mike was able to get a new one installed same day!!! I reached out almost daily with a question and it was answered immediately— absolutely amazing!! Finally, the house itself is exactly what you want for a group ski/summer house. Open floor plan, enough pots, pans, coffee mugs and then having two washer/dryers, hot tub, garage, fireplace truly elevated our trip. Like I said, I could continue to rave about this house (also it was so so clean), but also appreciated having little instructions next to fireplace, hot tub, thermostats and more! It made it very easy to navigate this wonderful home! Thank you again to Mike and this house for a trip we will never forget!!

We will definitely be back! Mike was a wonderful host, the house was great. The only thing I dislike was the stairs because it kept reminding me im out of shape. We joked about it all stay along with my family , just take breaks ! Everything was clean , it had everything we needed and more. White Christmas in Silverthorne
My family stayed at this property for the over Christmas and really enjoyed the location, view and amenities, complete with a fireplace and nicely decorated Christmas tree. The owner was responsive and pleasant to communicate with and I would recommend this property any season of the year.
