While driving through the Sierra Nevada foothills to Placerville, Lynn and I decided to take local roads and noticed this lake. The water was completely flat and provided a clear reflection. Sometimes it is nice to find unexpected little gems in your local area.

"This place was great for our needs during our vacation. We picked it because it was a halfway to both places we were visiting. (Six Flags and Lake Tahoe), room was spacious enough for our family of 5. Our kids enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the kid friendly channels on TV. Room was cleaned daily which was a nice touch when we arrived back to sleep. Overall a great experience and will stay again. Definitely recommend!"

"This place was very nice and clean and had breakfast include. The indoor pool was a big plus for me. Fitness center was nice and clean also. I one complaint I have is the tub/showers was the basic kind. It’s just my preference when staying at a hotel I want that super modern walk in shower. Something different from what’s at home. Makes me feel more fancier. Nothing against the property but it’s just my person preference."
