Staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed and shower were fine, but the carpets!! I stayed on the 3rd floor and the carpets are in desperate need of replacement. Very dirty and not very welcoming.

The parking was great after 10pm (free) I hesitated parking in the garage it was confusing and expensive for the short amount of time left 10pm to 6am was $23.00, I was worried about being charged an additional $23.00 after 6am.. I ended up parking next to the hotel after 10pm. I paid $3.00 in the morning at 830am to 11am, which was check out time. My ONLY ISSUE with The Sterling Hotel was internet access and Wifi was absolutely NOT available and very frustrating. Good thing for hotspots.

The staff was excellent. I loved the view of the river. The room was nice. The bed was comfy. The shower was nice and hot. We loved there were sea lions on the other side of the river, they talked all night both nights, we loved it. We'd stay again.
