A good choice for the area

Posted Mar 25, 2016 on Hotels
One of the chain of Icelandair hotels. It's clean, quiet and well done. They cater to bus tours so if you can stay away from those crowds you'll like it. There is a very nice geothermal hot spring nearby; other than that not much in the area. The view is great, the staff generally pleasant and the b'fast the basic European. All in all a good choice for the location and money.

Nice hotel on a quiet spot

Nice hotel to Icelandic standards; clean spacious rooms and common areas. Do not expect luxuries though. Breakfast is a bit expensive considering its short choice and has a lot to improve.

Like a cheap Travelodge

Disappointing for the cost of the room. No warmth or friendliness from the staff. Information folder in room contained of out of date info as it had not been updated since 2013. No tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Won't be staying in an Icelandair hotel again!
