Our stay at the Green Geysir Cottage was wonderful. This property is relatively new, with more being built. Its one of the BEST places that we have stayed in Iceland. The cottage was clean, comfortable, private and close to many attractions. Well equipped kitchen/great room area, very nice private bedroom/bathroom set up. The property hot tub was large and well maintained.
We will definitely be staying her for several nights on our next trip.

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

They helped us immediately when we had issues finding the bus back to the airport, and solved our problem and our stress of missing our flight.
