“We recently stayed here and overall had a pleasant visit,with a few areas that could benefit from some attention.On the positive side,the property is in a great location,especially being so close to Caerphilly Castle.The WiFi was reliable throughout our stay,and the heating worked very well,which made it nice and cosy.The space itself is cute and you can see there has been effort put into making it feel welcoming and comfortable.There are just a few maintenance and housekeeping points worth……

“Due to own circumstances we were late to the guest house, Lawrence was so accommodating and came and settled us in. We had a beautiful room the peach room and was so spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast is help yourself with a range of cereal, toast and fruit 🍇. We loved sitting in the garden for breakfast and in the evenings once back the view is stunning 😍. Plenty of parking. Lawrence and Ashley were really friendly and helped with anything you needed . The location is perfect……

“We traveled with a teenager and my mum, so having three double bedrooms in the centre of town was very helpful. And we could all watch what we wanted with all the tvs in the apartment. There were plenty of amenities in the kitchen. A bread bin or somewhere to store food would be helpful as we had to store everything on the countertops. It was lovely and warm. And the beds were all super comfortable. There were a lot of stairs in the property, which it may help to advertise as my mum has……

“What a hidden gem The Annex, Rose Cottage is. Perfectly situated if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life! Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. The cottage is beautifully presented , warm and clean with a very comfortable sofa and bed. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I have experienced with everything that is required - a real home from……

“There was a bad sewage smell in the flat that seemed to come from the cupboard containing the mop. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable despite my friend bringing a mattress topper with her. It had springs sticking out. They don’t tell you before you check in that there is either a 38 non refundable deposit or a 200 hold on your account in case you break something. The flat was in a good location by the beach. New bedding needed for the main bedroom”
