“First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”

“Had a great stay. The original booking had a loft and wasn't handicap accessible, so we switched to another cabin on the property. The new cabin had a couple steps up, and a small front porch. A rail would have been nice, but we made it work. It was charming, cozy, warm, clean, quiet, and private with a nice bathroom and hot shower. “Check in process was very straightforward. Place was very cute and cozy, and included all the basics such as a coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and linens. Got a little chilly at night but between the heater and the space heater we were perfectly comfortable. Nice and quiet location, <10 mins from Stewart’s. Be prepared to drive 20+ minutes for restaurants, especially if visiting off-season as many close seasonally. Overall a great place and a great value, would definitely stay here again!”

The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know.
