Anniversary stay
Great location. Easy access to the beach and st Augustine. Property manager was very easy to access and handled our only issue quickly. ( only issue was a storm that really dirtied the pool)

Clean home, great pool for kids.
We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Vilano beach was beautiful, sparsely populated, and perfect for long walks. It was a bit chilly while we were visiting so the children were very happy that the pool was heated and they spent a lot of their time swimming. I didn’t realize the home was located at such a busy intersection when I booked, but the noise from traffic didn’t end up interfering with our sleep and the beds were nice and comfortable. On the plus side of the location, it was right across the street from a grocery store and not too far of a walk to get to the beach. I would recommend!

Amazing Home!
My family & I stayed for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s Birthday… we were all impressed with how beautiful this home is. Each room is tastefully decorated, each bathroom stocked with fresh, clean towels. The kitchen has a view of the ocean and it is stocked with spices, pots & pans, utensils, glasses, plates, bowls just about everything you need to make a meal! The beach access is a short walk from the house. The pool is great… heated just right! Thank you for such a lovely home to celebrate a very special occasion. We highly recommend booking this home!

Quick Stop
This was a quick stop for us as part of a roadtrip. Had never visited St. Augustine so it was an opportunity to check it out and we were very pleased! House and host are outstanding. This place has everything, and if you do manage to find yourself in need, there’s a nice Publix grocery store within walking distance. Nice beaches all around, but the heated pool oasis was the star of the show as we visited in December and gale force winds made the ocean a no-go regardless of temps. Despite the uncooperative weather it was a great time in an awesome place. Thanks to the host for sharing this property, it really made our first visit to St. Augustine a memorable one.

After 30 long years, I coordinated a college reunion for six of the women that I lived with the location of the property, the attention to detail and the swimming, pool and fire pit and outdoor living space made the entire week a luxurious getaway where everyone can reconnect and enjoy the surroundings Will definitely book again

Best Stay in St Augustine Area!
So fortunate to have found such a wonderful rental. The house was both comfortable and convenient! Under a 2 minute walk to the beach. Short walk to Vilano town center. The location was right at the foot of Vilano Bridge which made driving to historic district and Route 1 a snap. Pool was relaxing. Beach stuff (wagon, chairs, umbrellas, pails & toys were all an added bonus. The house was well stocked with both bath & beach towels, beds were extremely comfortable, and I am very picky when it comes to sleeping. The owner was a true delight to work with! Thank you John for a perfect stay.

Family beach stay
Stayed with my son's family and brother's family to visit our family and the beach in St. Augustine/Vilano beach. The house was perfect. Outdoor area gorgeous, we all enjoyed the pool and loved the extra protective measures of gates surrounding pool since we had little ones there. So close to the beach area, just a 2 min walk so many of us were there often. Also, being able to walk across street to the Publix was so convenient. It took only minutes to get to historic St. Augustine. Only downside with property is griddle and grill too small to cook for our larger group but close to so many wonderful restaurants like the Reef and Aunt Kate's. Would definitely stay again

Vilano Beach Home
This little home was perfect for a getaway with friends! I love how they have an actual vacuum in the house so we could sweep the sand up (other rentals I’ve been to, have not). Only thing I can think of that was a slight annoyance was the location of the house, is right at a stop light getting off the bridge from st Augustine to Vilano. It’s really noisy (lots of honking). We brought our own fan to sleep with, thank goodness, and was never woken by the traffic. Overall 5 stars for this home. It was a fantastic stay and very clean!

Very nice home and worked great for our week at the beach
Overall a nice accommodation because we had good weather. Because there were eight of us, we had to eat outdoors every meal. Had we had rain this would have been a bit problematic as there was no space to set up a large table inside. The pool was awesome and it was close to the beach. The beds were super comfortable and it had a well equipped kitchen.

Wonderful Family Vacation
This rental went above and beyond our expectations. The beach is about a 2-3 minute walk. The heated pool was amazing, even on the cooler days. The kitchen is well stocked. There were 6 of us, my husband and myself, our son and daughter-in-law, and our daughter and her boyfriend. We each had a great private space while also enjoying the great shared space. The first morning when we stepped outside, the neighbor walked over and asked how many people were staying there because the last group was noisy on the deck after dark. My husband assured him we were a quiet group, however did feel the general approach of the neighbor was a bit awkward. We didn't have any further interactions.....but just wanted to share. We would love to visit again. Amazing ❤️

Great Place!
Our family of 4, which include two teenage daughters loved our stay at Vilano Beach. Close to St. Augustine and all area attractions yet the home feels like it’s own mini oasis with the private heated pool and a short walk to a quiet beach. We had a little snag with the automatic door code not working but we heard right back from the owner who was able to get everything to work for us. John is friendly and easy to work with. The home is located near a busy intersection and although you don’t rally notice the sounds to much during the day they can be loud at night if you are used to living in the country as we are. The space was great and allowed everyone to have their own privacy while also being able to enjoy being together in the pool area. The pool area has a great mix of sun and shade which was nice. We enjoyed our family time immensely and would definitely come back in the future.

Beautiful Beach House in Vilano Beach
We just loved Silver Surf Beach House. It is perfect for a family/friends get away. The house is beautiful, immaculate, & has everything you could possibly need while staying there. The pool & backyard are so nice you’ll never want to leave. It’s also a short walk to the beach, Publix, stores, restaurants, & a 10 minute drive to St. Augustine. The few questions we did have were quickly answered by property manager Christa & owner John. We would highly recommend this property.

The location is excellent for accessing the beach, walking distance to shops and dining in Vilano Beach as well as being convenient to cross the bridge into the historic district for shopping, tours etc., with alot less traffic than other locations. The private pool and yard area truly feel like an oasis. Loved it and hope to visit again soon.

Relaxing and great location
My family and I enjoyed this property, especially our 3 year old twins that took advantage of the games that were provided 😁. I will say it definitely kept them busy and occupied. The new pool was a nice addition and view was amazing, despite the construction side but we were certainly aware of it and it was not an issue and the rain. Everything was lovely. The only complaints we mainly had was the kitchen rug, the one corner just didn't wanna stay down, lol and not having a grill. However, completely understandable why some owners wouldn't want to have it but we're cookers and we appreciate those lil things, wink wink. We will more than likely rent again on our yearly visits but hoping that the new construction they had going will be available by then. The views from that newest addition looks to be amazing and the best from that angle. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My family and I absolutely loved this home! The kids didn't want to leave. The location is nice and convenient to everything in St Augustine. There's a Publix and a couple of local restaurants right across the street for food and drinks. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk away and it was very nice, not crowded at all. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the house was stocked with everything from cooking utensils, plates and bowls to beach towels, beach toys and even umbrellas, chairs and a pull cart. The pool area is amazing! I highly recommend this property!

Home away from home!
This home is great we enjoyed it a lot! The way this house is laid out allows everyone to sleep peacefully without Being able to hear through your the house. Beautiful back yard and fully stocked house. Will definitely be back! ( only thing to remember is to tell the Uber/shuttle service) to stay straight at the light into drive way for picking up dropping off. The GPS takes most of them to a tiny drive behind the home!

We had a great stay in Vilano Beach at this property. SUPER communication by the host John throughout the rental process and during our stay. Loved the surf vibe of the house and the quaint space for our family of 4 plus in-laws. We so enjoyed the pool and outdoor space, which was probably best part of our trip. Super convenient walk to fairly private area of the beach with no crowds. Great spot to surf at as well. Nice Publix and some small shops and a pizza joint right across the street. Pier and restaurant within short walk. Pretty ideal spot with everything close by and just a short drive over the bridge to downtown St Augustine. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks John!

Great getaway location!
I was hosting our annual girlfriends getaway, and this was a great location. Everyone loved being walking distance to the beach and the salt water pool was excellent. Shopping is a short drive away. All the women were of a “certain age” so I wouldn’t recommend them staying in the loft. The outdoor furniture had not been cleaned and some of the rugs had sand, but the owner had already informed me that he had a substitute house keeper. Also if you need to use the convertible sofa downstairs or the futon in the loft, you should plan on using a mattress pad. It was not provided on this trip. But if your family is looking for a St Augustine vacation location, I highly recommend.

Wonderful Florida Vacation!
We rented this Vilano Beach home for a family wedding. It was perfect accomodations for my husband and I, children and grandchildren! Following a change of ownership, both hosts communicated instructions clearly and made check in a breeze. The kiddos, 9 and under, loved the nice warm pool and enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Beds were soft, kitchen was well stocked, and I the outside entertainer area was perfect for extended family visits! We were very pleased with our stay!
