So this is what I didn't like. I booked this for book now and pay later. No where was it located that there would be a deposit for the room. I questioned about this. The one gentleman told me that it was on the website. I went out to my car and showed him the paper that I had, no where on the paper does it say that I would be charge a deposit. Yes I would get it back if the room was in good condition when my foster son and I leave. So I took pictures of what was wrong. Room 220 no hot water in the bathroom for tub or shower. No roll for the toilet paper to be put on, water in the refrigarator and the hair dryer did not work. So yes when I am get extra charges that was not expected I am going to make notes. And the one gentleman in a way was calling me a liar.

The rooms was half cleaned found blonde hair in our bed and all over the towels. Also had burn holes in our covers. Vending machines didn't work properly. Breakfast was okay but the jucie machine broke down.

It was nice that the pool worked but it would be nice if it was a bigger pool. We didn’t like the dogs barking at 5am or people running through halls early in the (almost everyday) morning. The maids needs to speak better English. I had to show the maid towels, bar soap, shampoo & the empty paper towel holder for her to know what we needed.

Everything about our stay was excellent except the TV in the room did not have a signal. Breakfast is the morning was great with many options for food. Highly recommend for a quick overnight stay.

Room was not fully cleaned. We found a dirty shirt under our bed as well as sheet stains. Bathtub had water under the tub lining and both myself and my fiance almost fell in the shower.

A little bit older
You could tell the bathrooms were older. The bathtub had what appeared to be cracking and peeling paint near the drain. The drain itself was gross and full of hair wrapped around the stopper. The rest of the room was great. Perfect for my family of 4s needs. Breakfast was your standard fare. My biggest complaint was the weed smell. It was crazy strong in the bathroom when we first arrived and you got hit by it in the hallways occasionally. Now, i do realize it's legal in Missouri, i just truly hate the smell and come from a state where recreational use isn't legal so I'm not used to it being so in my face. Other than that, the hotel was perfect for the price we paid. We would consider here again if we need a place to stay next time we come visit family in STL

Check-in was amazing. Staff was great. The bed is very firm and not comfortable. Room is clean. Doors were slamming around 0500 and walls / ceiling are thin.

Staff was great, especially the breakfast attendant. Some signs of aging in the rooms but it’s small stuff. Overall, a nice hotel and fairly priced. Next to a Cracker Barrel.

Would stay again but bring a full size pillow.
Hotel was clean and well kept. Was definitely in a better part of town. I would stay there again. My only real complaint was the pillows on the bed, they were all half size of a standard pillow but there was 5 or 6 of them.

Not coming back.
We tried to check in two hours early just to put our things in the room- the guy at the desk said the room was vacant but to check in early we would have to pay $25 which was whatever… we said no and checked in later that night. But the room was so disappointing. Room 101 with jacuzzi- the lock on the door trapped us in the room many times. It stuck so it either didn’t lock or would lock us in. It was dirty- there was a lid from a previous guest in the floor and dust everywhere. The jacuzzi had a brown ring around the drain and particles in it. The bathroom smelled awful. I’m not sure if it was the toilet or shower curtain but it made the room smell like sewage. We had stayed in another jacuzzi room before and it was clean. This was disappointing. The door to the parking lot was right by our room and never locked so anyone could come in from outside at any time. We like to have couples getaways occasionally to enjoy a jacuzzi tub - we won’t be back here.

Found bed bug activity in the room, and the Dave custom construction crew that was staying there was banging on the wall and yelling profanities called staff the were not helpful at all we didn’t even stay the whole night

Great value near STL
We stayed at this Best Western in St Louis for 5 nights on a family vacation. We picked it mostly because of the indoor pool and the full complimentary breakfast. My wife and I were a little disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub but our kids had fun in the pool. The breakfast was really nice - eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pastries, bagels, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, and juice. I was a little disappointed that they only include bacon one day a week and all other days are sausage, but otherwise it was a great breakfast. We thought the beds were a little firm, more than we prefer, but the rooms were comfortable and clean.

The room was clean upon arrival. All necessities were provided ! The vending machine edibles (snacks) were sparse and the sodas were expensive. The insistence to collect a "just in case of damage" deposit fee of $100 was outrageous and offensive! Staff were informed, polite, and cooperative.
