“Very fun pool time with our grandchildren”

“We stayed for one night. After booking we received an email several days later. It stated that the pool, spa and hot tubs were down for maintenance until next year. Also, our shower did not work at all! Quite frustrating when you want to start your day clean. I spoke to the staff about the shower and they responded by offering me my $28 resort fee back! Really? What kind of “resort” is that? I can go without a pool or spa I guess, abut no shower?”

“This is a great family friendly resort. There is so much included in your stay to make it worth it. We really enjoyed the 3 clean pools and waterslides. The food is convenient and the food court area has a great atmosphere. You can spend the whole day at the marina on the kayaks, paddleboards, and water bikes. They have a great swim area at the lake. The crafts and activities were a nice touch, my child enjoyed it. There was never a lack of something to do. The resort was safe and great for……

“We had such a relaxing stay. I highly recommend. Air conditioning was amazing since it was 100+ degrees outside during our visit. The staff was so nice and ready to help in any way possible. Well maintained. It looks like a castle and they have horse’s and knights in armor all around the property. The pictures on their site are accurate. We have had 2 terrible experiences at different places in Branson where pictures looked great, but the place falling apart, dirty, … and then don’t refund. One……

“Restaurant/bar closed almost an hour early without notice and when asked I was told they must have just decided to go home early by the front desk…… I would have spent money eating dinner there but had to go elsewhere. Other than that the property was as expected for a economy hotel and the location was great if you’re heading to the park”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Country Resort! Our two kids (ages 9 and 13) were thrilled with the indoor water park, outdoor pool, go karts, laser tag, miniature golf and candy shop. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean. The maid service came daily and were generous with extra towels.”

“The pool opens at 9am, in order to reserve a Cabana you have to wait for the bartender to arrive at 11am. We sat at one for 2 hours waiting for the bartender at the main pool, made the reservation with her to then be told that it was double booked and we would have to move to the smaller, more secluded pool. This was incredibly frustrating considering we were there right at 9am to make sure we got the one we wanted to enjoy the DJ for the day by the main pool. The two morning bartenders were……

“This place was super cute, dog friendly and had a lot of amenities for families (games inside and out, pools, etc). The bar / coffee shop was great. My only issue was I didn’t realize how small the room was going to be. Not much room for 2 adults with dog and dog bed, plus baggage. My bad, not theirs.”

The room has quality mattresses, upscale pillows, bedding, and towels, and looks modern with newer furnishings and carpet. Everything has been remarkably clean and pleasant.
