Maderia Bay Condo
The floor needs a good cleaning, we were not able to go barefoot during our stay otherwise your feet would be completely black! There is no bathrooms outside for the pool and there's lots of beer consumption and no one going to their unit to use the bathroom... The elevator went out for 1 day, very hard climbing stairs in 98 Degree temps.

Great stay
Beautiful view from balcony,, close to beach and clean. The only issue was they were no linens for the pull out sofa but did obtain some from the office. Sofa mattress extremely uncomfortable. Our person ended up just sleeping on the couch. No bedside table in small bedroom to place phone, water, etc. Overman great stay for one night! Thank you

Spring Break 2023
Super nice & clean updated condo only complaint is the water pressure in the showers was not good. Condo faces marina but beach is directly across the street. Short walk to Johns Pass for food & shopping.

Good location. Lack of attention to “comfort” details.
Floors needed mopping. Needed more bath towels. No enough chinaware to set table. Good cutlery set. Cheap flatware. Needed instructions for TV. Second bedroom did not have bedside table/lamp—ceiling light burned out. Poor rental value.

Loved the condo but we had no parking passes & the bathtub drain did not drain properly. We called that evening ( after hours number). Young man answered the phone Yeah! He apologized for the missing passes & confirmed they would be dropped off the next day as well as maintenance would come to unclog the drain. Neither happened. Other than this all was very enjoyable. Comfy beds, towels & view was beautiful.

Needs improvement
The condo is nice and well maintained, however there was 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 wash cloth, 1 towel for each person, the bathtub wouldn't drain, no cleaning supplies, 1 trashbag, and 1 bowl... we have stayed in this building and the other before, and we might again but not this unit. The water pipes run down the wall in the tiny room and you can hear it all night as well.

Just Need A Room
4 nights after taxes & fees =a lot No paper towel No dish liquid No wash cloth No beach towels No window in 2nd bedroom You will receive attitudes when you phone the office Gritty floors when it isn't cleaned well Sounds from everyone in the hallway from the large gap under the front door But if you bring all your own gear you can walk a block to the beach to see an amazing sunset 🌇

Great Location!!
Just a short walk to the beautiful beach. Great location to walk to many eating and shopping establishments. This is a great rental unit for a small group. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the boat docks from the balcony.

Geat location
Bring a mop and some wipes to clean everything when u check in. Floors were filthy, toilets too. Beds weren't made. Photos show bunk beds in 2nd bedroom but its a full size bed. Condo is very nice if only it was cleaned well.

Expensive for 1 night
The condo was beautiful and very clean. However, the extra fees and cleaning fee for one night was excessive. I booked and stayed due to short notice. If you have the extra money it’s worth it but won’t be doing that again.

Don’t Plan on ever reaching the property manager!
The unit was sparse but ok. There were no check in on instructions. After moving our loaded cars twice, we found out by accident there were s a check in lobby in Bldg 1 2nd Floor. We had 2 cars but would only give one parking pass. My Daughter had the park her car at the city lot a mile away for $20 day. The desk clerk said he could give a 2nd parking pass with permission from property manager. Never got a message back after 3 attempts. There was no paper towel, only one roll of TP, not even a sample size of dish soap. We could not get the Livingroom TV to work but again NO response from management. This is my first negative review after 100s VRBO rentals. Very disappointing. BTW give yourself lots of extra time to wait on the slowest elevators ever. Waited up to 15 mins!

Nice Place But Owner was MIA
Pros: Very nice place and great location on the intracoastal with a terrific view. Very short walk to John’s Pass and to the beach. Cons: ZERO communication with the owner. No response when I sent a couple of messages through the app. No hair dryer, no beach towels or chairs,, etc. Be aware that this is an independently managed unit by the owner in John’s Pass Condos. This is not part of the Madeira Bay Resort, and the management people there will not be able to help people who are staying in this unit.

Close to everything
Location. Location, Location! We were within walking distance to John’s pass and public access to the beach was right across the street. The unit was very clean! Everything seemed brand new. The view off the balcony was beautiful overlooking water. My only issue was no hair dryer and no starter coffee. We would definitely stay here again!

Very new, very clean. Located directly across the street from a beach access. Pool on property for those not interested in the beach. I'd like to say some negative things so it would be easily available for me again but I can't come up with a negative.
