We arrived at 4pm and did not get the room until after 7 pm. Property kind of old and run down not well kept. Also we needed mobility equipment (wheelchair) and they only had one so it took more than two hours after 3 requests for him to get picked up and help from beach. They had 4 or 5 young people in the booth but only one was caring and helpful

I recently stayed at Island Grand at TradeWinds and had a terrible experience. The room was filthy, with visible dirt and grime in the corners and on the surfaces. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches crawling around, which was absolutely disgusting. When I reported these issues to the manager, David, he was incredibly unhelpful and rude. Instead of addressing my concerns, he dismissed them and treated me with complete disrespect. His attitude made my stay even more uncomfortable and stressful. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness and poor customer service, especially from David, made for a very unpleasant stay. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

The staff was super friendly and that helped us overlook that the property probably peeked in the mid 90’s. Bill, the bartender by check in, was a super nice guy. Not sure we’ll get the 2 bedroom again. Not worth the cost. We would’ve gotten 2 rooms for less. Pictures definitely made it look much nicer. I have a bigger tv in my bathroom at home 😂

The only thing good about our stay was the beach. We had a reservation made 3 months ago and they did not have our villa available. We were given a sheet of available room (similar to options when getting a pedicure). Not exactly knowing what I had agreed to I accepted since we had no other choice. When we arrived to the room, it was not big enough for us and paying over $700 for a room requested to be able to select another room management was completely rude would not make any accommodation stating we had agreed at, the front desk on the new room. my tropical view I had booked ended up view of AC units. (Bait and switch) There was signs of mold in the shower, sofa bed was nothing but springs. Definitely not worth the money even for the beach-better options in the area.
