"You have to manage your expectations accordingly, then it’s pretty good. It’s such a phenomenal building. Clearly nothing has been touched since it was refurbished and opened, so things are looking worn and tatty. Staff at check in, of which there was an abundance, seem determined to ignore, deflect or obstruct. Rooms are a quirky $130 motel experience at three times the cost. None of which really matters because you’re not coming for that. It’s so handy and an experience. Also, the gym is great."
