It’s been recently renovated so it was all very fresh. And new. The staff were really friendly, helpful and all round great. The shared bathroom situation was easy as there are 2 per floor and around 6 rooms or so per floor so we never had to wait to use facilities. One critique, the door leading to the garden downstairs was constantly being slammed up until the early hours and it really rattles through the building….sort that out so it isn’t so loud when closing and the place is perfect. Overall, we would stay again for sure

I found the room to be very comfortable and cozy, and I appreciated that it was clean and well-equipped with air conditioning. The staff were excellent and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. Additionally, the location was perfect; being so close to Penn Station made it very easy to get around the city. Thank you for the great experience.

This was the second time I have stayed here. My review will read like the last one. Staff was helpful. Location is the best. Everything was very convenient. Air conditioning was ok. Kitchen was super clean. Some other folks staying there were kind of loud but it was after the Knicks won a game. I did have some connectivity issues with the Wifi. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.

Check in was easy and instructions on how to access rooms and the building were thorough and clear. Staff was very polite and kept areas clean. Check out was easy process. As a hostel, its amenities were enough and more as far as availability of clean linen, bathrooms and showers, and kitchen. Great location - relatively quiet.

Easy check in, staff were friendly. Stayed on the 5th floor which had a shared full kitchen that was nice and convenient. No Elevator so be prepared to do some stairs. Good area out back to smoke or sit outside. Overall, not a bad stay.

Room was very clean with decent A/C. Kitchen was also clean. Bathrooms were a little sketchy, but I had my own disinfectant spray. Tried to shower, but drain was clogged. Towel bar broke as soon as my towel touched it. Someone showered despite the drain and flooded the entire bathroom for hours.
