“A wonderful place to stay while in Anacortes. Location is ideal for easy access to everything, the house exceeded our expectations, and the host were gracious and kind. Responded quickly to any questions we had and provided everything that was needed during the stay and more. Would stay here again. ”

“Nice off the beaten path get away”

“Great lakeside location with plenty of room inside and outside. We used the paddle board and canoe on the lake and twice saw a bald eagle flying overhead. The back deck has a nice table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. The dining room also has plenty of room indoors for meals around the large round table. The kitchen itself is on the small side, but workable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and felt the property had everything we were looking for.”

“This home is beautiful and tucked away in a woody neighborhood. It is spacious and well-appointed. I loved the view from all the balconies. You can see the water amongst all the trees. The home is well-loved and gorgeous. (meaning you can tell that it's not brand new, but that doesn't matter because it's very cool looking) I love that it's not a white and grey box. There were records to play and so many games available. The art on the wall is adorable. I only wish we'd had more time there. It's...

“It was beautiful,amazing I could have stayed another week.”

“The lake is amazingly beautiful. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of beds for our large group of mostly kids. The driveway and walk down to the lake is rather steep,, but very manageable. We had a great visit and would return again. ”

“The property was well maintained. Registration was completed easily for a last minute reservation. Our two small dogs enjoyed the outdoors in the fenced backyard. The beds were comfortable. One full, one queen, one futon. One shower, toilet and sink. The hot tub was very relaxing. Everything was well organized with easy to understand instructions. Had an enjoyable stay!”

“Communication with John was easy from beginning to end. While the house might be a bit dated, it's clean, comfortable, in a fairly convenient location and of course the view out to the Similk bay is 1000% worth it. We spent a full work week partially remote working and partially exploring Anacortes and the San Juans island region. Major thanks to John who when I asked him about the coffee making situation told me what was there but asked me what I'd prefer. I just happened to send him a picture...

“Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! Location was great for accessing trails and kayaking near Deception State Park, and the little towns on the island. The property is newly renovated, kitchen well-stocked, and very comfortable. Road is not too busy so we had peaceful time reading on the front porch when not out and about. ”

“We needed a nearby VRBO to stay in while our plumbing was being replaced on our nearby home. This cozy suite was a perfect spot. Convenient to amenities, our favorite hikes, restaurants etc. The suite has a unique character with lots of neat antiques and artworks. Very well maintained. Would stay again for sure.”

“This property is AMAZING!!! Very well appointed with comfortable beds/furniture. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming, responsive and kind! Perfect location to all things Bellingham with easy access to everything! The view from back deck is absolutely gorgeous!! HIGHLY recommend this property!!!”

“This property met all of our vacation needs. Loved how peaceful and quiet it was. The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful. A little bit of a drive to/from downtown Bellingham (20 min), but it’s so worth it for the price compared to locations that were closer. ”

“We loved our stay at the nest! Everything was so cute and cozy. There are so many small details in the home and outside that make it magical.There were five kids/teens in our party and they were in heaven! The loft was perfect for them and they loved having their own space out of reach from the adults. They loved the beach, especially low tide and exploring the tide pools. The tide was about -2 when we stayed and they thought the tide pools at the nest were more fun than some popular beaches...
