A beautiful pub in a quiet village in Hampshire. Food was great and the staff were very friendly. I felt at home and will definitely stay here again when in Andover.
Very friendly staff on arrival. Cosy, clean and comfy room with great facilities. Really amazing food in the restaurant. Shame I’m only here for one night! Would def book again

Lovely location and fabulous pub with rooms. Meal was excellent and service really good. Rooms stylish and bed super comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
Really impressed with the Peat Spade. Friendliness of the staff, high quality dinner and breakfast, and comfortable bedrooms that had everything we needed
Came for a fly fishing trip and loved every minute. The food at the pub is excellent and the rooms are very nice. Gorgeous garden and very well located for fishing, walks into Stockbridge, and generally enjoying the countryside. Staff was very helpful as well and arranged a pre-made lunch for us to take for our day on the water.
We were very impressed with the Peat Spade Inn, especially as every room is dog friendly. All the inside areas and the patio outside were very nicely presented. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom and a fridge in the wardrobe. Plenty of biscuits to go with your complimentary tea/coffee and fresh milk each day.The food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and efficient.
I am very fussy about cleanliness and felt that there were a few too many hairs in the room and bathroom for my liking. I don't like very soft pillows either and there was no choice. We liked the Dyson fan which was very welcome as the nights we stayed were very warm and the quilt was a winter weight one.
Locally, the village of Longstock is very pretty with lots of thatched cottages and the whole area had plenty to see and do and lots of walks available. A beautiful area for a short break or a longer stay. Family who live reasonably nearby visited us there and were impressed enough to say they might do an overnighter there.
Lovely country pub, great pub, lovely staff, nice quality complimentary toiletries, decent coffee machine in the room.
Great value, nice food. Very good indeed.
