We stayed twice in quick succession, the first room was very small, but the second room was quite nice. It is an 800 year old building so not everything is perfect, but the food and service is great. The bathrooms were clean in both rooms.
Parking is half a block away, so you need to plan out the unloading/loading a bit, that turned out to not be a big deal, but not expecting that caused us to spend quite a bit of extra time initially.

Excellent location and friendly staff make this a great place to stay in Salisbury. While the rooms are small, the beds were comfy and the bathroom top notch. What was unfortunate was the total lack of accessible power outlets. I would have expected the management to do something (anything!) to make the outlets more accessible. There is no excuse why they didn't provide an extension cord so we didn't have to move furniture to charge our phones.

Super cosy and nice, excellent beds and bath room. Good restaurant with nice food and wine menu. Breakfast above average for B&B. Pleasant and helpful employees.
I had a lovely room and the staff were excellent. Only downside is that you have to park in a public car park and so that made it difficult getting luggage to the hotel
Great opportunity to stay in a beautiful 800 year old property. V quirky due to its' age. Very comfy bed and great location for Cathedral, City Hall, city centre etc. Nice staff. Lovely breakfast and great negroni! Felt a little pressured re: timings / choices for breakfast but not really an issue for us and understand there is also a working restaurant in operation as well. The choice of continental breakfast, cooked breakfast and eggs benedict was really appreciated. The coffee was great too. All in all lovely stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you.
Unique historic property. A restaurant with rooms … definitely not your usual chain hotel room. In a building hundreds of years old the floors and stairs are very wonky … so mind your step! We loved the character of the buildings and our room (no. 6 … not all rooms have wood panelling this dark!) … it was spacious and had everything we needed.
And the food in the restaurant was great … both for evening meal and breakfast.
This is such a charming inn that has been around for over 800 years, which means you are in an old building with no lift and small, winding hallways. These features add to the charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My son slept on a sleeper sofa that had the best mattress I've ever seen on a sofa bed and the towels were the softest I've ever had. There's a nice continental breakfast and the cooked to order breakfast was delicious! We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it too was super yummy. The location was perfect for exploring Salisbury. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Salisbury.

It was a historicity and charming house with lovely people. The room and food was amazing. But we did ask for a room for 4 and got only 3 sleeping places.. but the smallest one of us was able to squeeze in! After all a beautiful hotel
This old place has character, super comfortable beds, and a great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was also super friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for one night. Room was immaculate with large slipper bath & walk in shower. Plenty of tea & coffee provided & 2 bottles of water. Yhe ki g size bed was really comfortable. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked hot & very tasty. All the staff were very efficient & friendly. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
