“The code for the door was not sent to us by Expedia and there was no one on site. We had to find out the number and call the hotel so we could get into the room”

“The location was ideal, close to all our favorite wineries! It was close enough to main street that we were able to pop over and look around, but we avoided all the main street noise and traffic. We had a couple issues during our stay, but the property manager responded very quickly and was able to fix things! One note though, the house (especially the doors) are a bit creaky, which meant we had to tiptoe around to not wake up the baby, but that's more of a personal problem! Also wanted to note...

“Convenient location to all of Hill country, Austin and San Antonio. The house was comfortable and had areas to get some alone time if needed. Plenty of storage in bedrooms/baths and kitchen which is many times not the case in vacation rentals. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch watching the squirrels and birds playing in the trees with a view of the river in the background. Can't say anything about the hot tub...too hot to use it! The house is good for a couple, two couples/ kids or a Girls trip....

“Wonderful”

“The host was very attentive and prompt to respond. The setting on the river is very nice and pleasant. We were disappointed that the hot tub would not heat up beyond 84 degrees during our stay. We chose this location and paid a little more to have this amenity on the river. It would be a great location and floor plan for a family to enjoy.”

“It’s a very nice peaceful area, right near all the wineries. There is 3 different rentals on the property, but extremely close together. Almost too close, luckily we didn’t have much company, it really would have changed our experience. Would have loved ceiling fans, but that’s not a deal breaker. We had a fabulous time in the house and all over Fredricksburg.”

“This is a lovely property with plenty of trees for shade and a lovely meadow. It feels like the house has been there for 100 years, but efforts have been made to update plumbing and lighting and HVAC so that it feels comfortable and antique at the same time. ”

“Beautiful peaceful place to stay while visiting the Fredericksburg area and checking out wineries”

“A new, clean, quiet and convenient place to stay. We really enjoyed the porch and yard for sunsets. Coffee bar was great. Tip: the keypad was new to us. Hold your hand over the whole thing to make the numbers appear. We’ll be back!”

“Quiet and private nice place to stay. Beautiful decor and aesthetics. Slanted ceiling kept us on our toes but it added to the uniqueness. Inviting outside common area. They had many conveniences and great air conditioning. There were many places to visit and see nearby. Being between Fredericksburg and Johnson City made it a convenient place to stay.”

“The property was beautiful and peaceful. Check in and check out were very easy the hosts were very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place.”

“A very cozy and clean place to stay during your trip to Fredericksburg. Not far out of the way to get some peace and quite, amazing views on the property too!. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. I highly recommend staying here. ”

“Great location for Albert, Luckenbach, state parks, LBJ ranch, Fredericksburg, etc. Well-furnished, comfortable layout and cute outdoors spaces. Plentiful storage and counter space, especially in the bathroom. Looking forward to booking again.”

“My family and I had the best stay. It was wonderful that we could all spend the day together and then go back and everyone goes to their own space. We will absolutely be coming back!! if it’s available, you should absolutely book this place”
