The staff are friendly and the location is super close to Europa Park which is what we needed. Food options are limited but if you drive to neighbouring towns there are decent restaurant choices. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. "Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."
