Overall the experience was a typical hotel experience and you get what you pay for. The room was by no means worth the value I paid at 180$ for the night. Granted long weekend so prices can be higher. All night we could hear doors slamming and we even had someone knocking on our door around midnight after a long day. Granted it’s the typical hotel experience we weren’t expecting noise cancelling by any means. I was also double charged for the deposit of the room without anyone telling me…

The room definitely needs to be cleaned better. There was hair left in the tub and on the bathroom floor and the tub didn’t drain well at all. Lots of dirt left on the carpets and had a bit of a cigarette smoke smell.

Staff was courteous & friendly. All areas of the hotel were tidy and clean. Back entrance doors with keycard locks were operating properly, so I felt safe. A few problems with the room: 1. bathtub drain partially plugged, 2. television would not turn on, 3. one of the dresser drawers kept opening itself.

Overall, the property was properly maintained however, I had a horrible experience. One of our beds was broken and was severely out of level. That made a horrible night sleep. The night manager tried but did not have another room to offer me so my only recourse was to sleep on a bed that was falling off its frame. I was told the manager would contact me but has not.

I really enjoyed my stay i Sudbury and appreciated the friendly accomodating staff. I liked the multiple entrances that allowed me to park close to my room. Thank you. The Perkins has great food too!

We checked in as a family of 4 and only had 2 bath towels in the washroom. You have to go to the front desk to get pool towels. The pool was not heated and was maybe sitting at 70.

We were satisfied and slept well in the comfortable beds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Too much traffic noise. New triple-gazed windows would eliminate that. Overall a favourable experience.

An old disabled man fell in the front door as we checked in and couldnt get up or speak. There were no automatic doors, he was bleeding from his elbow and not one staff member helped him or went over to see if he was okay; I did along with a few other guests. We picked him up off the ground and staff acted like he didnt exist.. its sad that happened to him, this hotel should be accessible for people like him and shame on the staff. Also, the pool was gross, cold, full of hair and chunks of stuff floating and the whirl pool was boarded up.. The best thing was the free wifi.. sorry..

Arrived at check in after driving over 8 hours to a note on desk stating back shortly. Once we found our room and settled in, we realized we were placed directly in front of the ice machine which was used loudly and frequently until after 2am. (No sleep) After we got up up and I took our dog for a walk, I came into the room and my child pointed out a bug running on the bed by our pillows. Under closer inspection I became concerned it was the infamous BED BUG. I took a picture of it and did a Google image search and lo and behold... It was definitely a bed bug!! I did smash it flat on a Kleenex and brought it to front desks attention. She immediately took one look at it and said "oh no"!! We brought our own pillows from home and a couple of the kids blankets to make the trip more comfortable and now I needed garbage bags to seal up all our belongings. This was the first night of our four night trip to other destinations. She told me that I would be compensated for the inconvenience and we loaded up everything and hit the road. There was no compensation and we threw away hundreds of dollars worth of belongings that needed to be repurchased. This trip put me out hundreds of dollars. After leaving messages for a week and a half with front desk staff, I do not get a call back from the owners or any of the managers. No credits have been issued. This leads me to believe that they do not care and that little is being done to remedy the situation. Buyer beware!!
