Room 119 smelled like cat pee, toilet paper holder kept coming out of the wall each time we pulled the paper, sink plug was broken so we needed to use our metal nail file to lift the plug each time we opened water as the water would not drain. Carpet was dirty, there was white stains. Breakfast consisted of 2 choice of cereal, regular oatmeal in a pouch where you would pour hot water, sticky buns, empty jug of orange juice and coffee. Glad I brought food from home. Out of all my stats in a Super 8 in the past, this had to be the worst.

We were told we would have a free breakfast and there was none and that was one of her main reasons for booking this hotel. Also, we had to call the front desk three times because the people upstairs were so noisy and we didn’t get any sleep at all, I’m definitely going to be looking into getting a refund for this. I dont usually give bad reviews but i have to here. The online pictures are amazing compared to reality. Smoke smelling everywhere. Frint desk people dont bother or care. I asked for an extra bath towel and it took forever. Was told he forgot. Rooms are dark and musty constant people yelling, laughing, running in halls i swear men walking in and out of rooms with women every hour. Breakfast consists of 2 cereal choices, tea, hot water, juice and mo coffee. Not worth it.

We checked in around 1 am we were all tired after driving 10 hours. It took around 25 mins to check in the computer was having issues. The beds were SO hard, there was no trash can other than the bathroom around 5-6 am we woke up to gushing water. The bathroom flooded the ceiling from the room upstairs pouring in the toilet tub and floor. My husband got dressed to go tell the staff and they just made a phone call and knew what it was. Never offered to come clean it up. So we had a flooded bathroom the few hours we stayed.

Check in was a little slow due to new employees being trained. We were cery disappointed in the king size mattress, it was so firm, we did not sleep comfortably or well, and woke up stiff and sore. Our biggest complaint is that the room has no soundproofing. After 9 pm til past 12 midnight, coming from the hall and lobby, there was so much loud noise with many people arguing and cursing. Then several times during the night, there was loud yelling and fighting coming from the room next door, 101. We had a terrible night!

They're were cobwebs on ceiling and mirror over desk. Security lick on door was broken. Had to ask for towels and wash cloths and bath mat. When received them they were ripped. No iron or ironing board. Had to get one from another room. No hair dryer, just the bracket on the wall. Had to go ask for one from housekeeping. Refrigerator made so much noise we had to unplug it. No other rooms were available to change into. Worse motel ever.

The staff were great and very friendly. The outside was really clean and tidy. The room was ok, there was some cosmetic things that do need to be done like stained carpets and missing paint in the tub and sink. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, if there was a more comfortable bed all cosmetic stuff wouldn’t matter at all, but with poor sleep maybe my opinion is stronger than it should be!

"SPECTACULAR STAY" at Super 8 Windham in Clay, NY. Upon arrival and eversince, we've been greeted by an extremely caring efficient staff, whom promply made us a fresh pot of coffee. Upon entering our room, I was delighted for the efforts of the staff to make our room special, from the folded shower curtain to the scented room! Loved it!! So far, we have stayed here for over 2 weeks due to business engagements. We take pride in commending this motel for going above standards. In addition, we have always been asked if we had sufficient toiletries. Most importantly, this motel has effectively eliminated all signs of unsavory activities. Without question, STAY HERE!! We are thankful for all the staff, economical pricing, ample parking for all those Big Rigs, and the pleasures, enjoyments, and joyfulness of pet owners within the scenically set property. There was no one ever at the front desk to assist you. The rooms were not very clean (some Of the towels were hung dirty in a new room). The lobby coffee was always cold never hot. Overall customer service was about a 1 star. There are other hotels in the area that I would recommend over this one.

"Spectacular Stay" at Super 8 by Wyndham in Clay, NY. Upon arrival and eversince, we've been greetedby an extremely caring efficient staff, whom promptly made us a fresh pot of coffee. Upon entering our room, I was delighted for the efforts of the staff to ensure our room detailed from the fokded shower curtian, to the scented room. Loved it!! We have stayed mist if October 2023 for business engagements. This motel has reached above and beyond hospitality standards. Most importantly, management has eliminated any signs of unsavory activities and for this, we especially commend them. The motel is scenically set back from the road and provides pet accommodations, extra beds, 24hr coffee, light breakfasts, lots of space for Big Rigs, and nearby amenities. Stay Safe Stay Here!!

"SPECTACULAR STAY" at Super 8 Windham in Clay, NY. Upon arrival and eversince, we've been greeted by an extremely caring efficient staff, whom promply made us a fresh pot of coffee. Upon entering our room, I was delighted for the efforts of the staff to make our room special, from the folded shower curtain to the scented room! Loved it!! So far, we have stayed here for over 2 weeks due to business engagements. We take pride in commending this motel for going above standards. In addition, we have always been asked if we had sufficient toiletries. Most importantly, this motel has effectively eliminated all signs of unsavory activities. Without question, STAY HERE!! Nothing fancy. They offer breakfast, but there wasn't much put out. There is also no elevator, which was fine for us but may be prohibitive to some.

Clean And Will Not Stay There again
We found this hotel as very clean and so that was nice. We noted that the mattresses on the bed frames in our room were small. So, the edges of the frame stuck out. All of my family hit our knee / leg on these exposed edges of the bed frames. Not sure why they replaced the mattresses with small versions and left the edges of the frame out. We tried to call our daughter in the room. We tried to call the room many times with no one at the front desk answering. We will not stay at this clean hotel again.

The person who met us upon arrival was very nice and helfpul. The others were not especially friendly or welcoming. The rooms near the lobby are NOISY. You could hear every conversation in the lobby area until late at night. The refrigerator was noisy as well. We had to unplug it at night. I agree with not changing towels every day. I do NOT agree with not even making up a room every day. This room was not cheap, and I would not stay here again.

Check in was very quick, the beds are on these weird metal platforms in the mattress didn’t even cover the whole thing. Also, when I first went into my room, I noticed there was some sort of black ashes on my sink and there was a musty smell in the room. Other than that it was worth the price. You get what you pay for.
