Even if room is ready, no early check in without a fee. No personality from staff, blank expressionless stares and monotone low mumbles is how they speak to guests. Breakfast is available however it was literally a choice of frosted flakes or raison bran, or the 3rd option were individually packaged honey buns (not really a breakfast food). When i was able to check into my room on the 2nd floor, 206, the first thing i noticed was the deadbolt was missing. The 2nd thing was that there wasn't a phone in the room. Lastly, i did the old bed bug check and while i didnt see any evidence, i did realize that there were yellow and black stains everywhere, dog hair, and the sheets were so old they had holes in them. It was really gross. I couldn't stomach sleeping in that bed, and was prepared to leave and find another place to stay. I went downstairs, informed the front desk of the state of the bedding and mattress pad, and without any apology or anything just said shed go up to take a look. She was gone for quite a while. Came back and totally played down how disgusting it was saying rhat there seemed to be a tiny bit of stain on the mattress pad. Wow. She offered to change the bedding and i was so tired from my drive i just agreed. After i went back up to the room, the bed looked perfect. Sheets were clean, no holes, mattress pad no longer jad bright yellow pee stains and dried toothpaste clumps on it. I just gave up and figured it was just for 1 night. Buyer beware.
