My husband and I had a great stay at the Eslite Hotel for his birthday, and the Studio King room I’ve booked was even upgraded to one with a view of the park and Taipei 101! The room was beautiful and clean, with all the amenities that a upscale hotel would have. I especially appreciate little details and cares that the hotel and staff had provided, like bath salts for the bath, nice turn-down service with a sprig of lavender to help the guest have a relaxing sleep, Taiwanese tea leaves and tea pot, etc.
The stay was great, but a few things that could be improved were: the check-in area was too small and could use more help, especially since visitors to the hotel’s cafe and lobby bar can get discounts for parking, so the check-in area was kind of chaotic with people cutting in to get their parking discount. Also, the Chapter, which is also the restaurant for the hotel’s breakfast, has a very limited seating area. So when my husband and I tried to eat breakfast in the morning, we were given seats in the lobby area, which was noisier and didn’t feel very comfortable when mixed with the people who were sitting in the lobby waiting for their family members finishing their hotel check-in and check-out procedures. So for an upscale hotel that was so detailed-oriented with the room, these lack of detailed care for the other parts of our stay didn’t seemed to match the Eslite Hotel’s overall image. But my husband and I would visit again, but will skip the paid breakfast.
