We took a taxi to this hotel as it is quite far from the train station. However, it was not expensive. The hot springs baths are pleasant, very well maintained, and a nice relaxation after a long day of travel and/or sightseeing. This seems to be a bit more of a 3-star property. We enjoyed our stay and explored a bit of the neighborhood for some meals. All quite pleasant.
The staff was very kind. Their parking lots were packed but they showed us how to get the closest parking lots from the hotel (actually it was cheaper than theirs). In addition they recommended us several udon restaurants around the hotel. Lovely!
the facility was really fresh. We loved the onsen.
There was onsen and comic books on the top floor, which was very nice. Having said that, as a hotel guest, I was not expecting to be charged with a parking fee (JPY 1,500), which was apparently much higher than other parking lots around.
Everything is excellent. Free noodle and drink for night snack. Good breakfast. Comfort and clean. Good location.
We lost a wallet before the hotel. We would like to express our gratitude to a Cantonese speaking staff. She help us to make calls and accompanying us to the police station, help us to do the translation. Finally, we can successfully report the case to the police and today i got email from the police, and my wallet is found. Thanks GOD and the help from the hotel's staff. We will certainly recommend this hotel for you.
Great hotel in downtown Takamatsu. You can catch a Bus to the Train station and Port area just outside the hotel and takes just 5 minutes. Bus to airport stops just across the street.
Dormy Inn was astonishingly well- designed and -organized for us. The rooms were small but efficiently constructed with enough room rest and recover after each active day. Clever arrangements for replacing towels and yukata in exchange for lowering room cost made sense for our active travel to other islands and returning in the evenings. In house washer and dryers available in the onsen were especially brilliant. And while we didn’t take advantage of the later evening noodles, it was a lovely offer at the end of a long day.
Great amenities and staff! It was nice to have the extra touches like English translations, nice onsen bath, free ramen and drink in the evening, and we also had excellent service!
