"When we checked in the staff said they were just finishing mopping the floor, but when we got in the room there were crumbs in bedroom and living room, the couch and chairs were full of food, hair ties in the bathroom. Laundry was in the room, but the dryer didn't work. The quality of our furniture, cupboards, bathrooms was nothing like in any picture. The beach was not cleaned. You had to bring your own tennis rackets to play. A resort fee should not be charged."

"The Sand Dollar was such a cute house boat and perfect for our family of 5. The sunsets were so pretty!"

"The previous tenant had left some rotten food in the refrigerator. I contacted the owner and she took prompt action to remedy the situation by purchasing a new refrigerator. Althugh it did not make it during our stay, I was very impressed with the owner's action to insure our stay was as comfortable as it should be. I highly recommend this place and the value she offers. Will definitely stay there in the future."

"Our stay here was amazing. Everything was very clean. There were many extras. Plenty of outdoor seating. We had a blast. We did choose this house based on the fact that it was on the canal so we could do a little a fishing. That is what I would say was the only flaw to this place. Most of the canals in this area lead out to the open water but go some reason this canal is cut off from that so fishing is sparse. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Our host even gave us extra time to check out. I would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s beautiful and set up perfectly. "

"The pool area was nice, the place is quaint and cute. Simple things would have made the stay better. Paper towels in the kitchen, and if not doors, than curtains between bedroom and sitting/kitchen area like on the front door; for those early risers and those still asleep to be less disturbed. But overall very cute place. "
