"This was a great place and perfect for our three day trip of hiking in JTNP. We came with two other couples but because of COVID we all stayed in our own places. The backyard was a perfect gathering place for all of us to have cocktails and eat outside. "Great place for 3 nights. At NE corner outside Joshua National Park. Ideal location for entering park at this spot, which is less busy than the one on the NW corner. "Nice older place to stay only about 5 miles from Joshua Tree North entrance. Manager ran the jacuzzi for us which was a huge plus after hiking for hours. "We enjoyed our stay in 29 Palms. The house was spotless, the beds comfy, the kitchen stocked with most everything needed to cook dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. "Cute sort of motor lodge motel. Rooms clean except I was a little freaked out by the bedspread. Very nice staff.
