The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The area was also in a quiet neighborhood. The location was pretty decent in that you can get to most of the stations within 10 min of walking. The hostel was ten steps away from a convenience store, which was, in every sense of the word, convenient.

Pros: Location, right near sensoji temple Service Heating/aircon Cons: Bed - uncomfortable, sheets werent fitted Noise - i think it was a generator outside the window going off all night as well as other guests were noisy after 10pm Only would reccomend it for the location not comfort

Very friendly and helpful staff
K's is in a fantastic location in asakusa and the biggest plus is the incredibly frirndly staff. They all spoke english and were so helpful, recommending onsens and local sights. Also just lovely people to chat to about Japan. We were in a private room which was very big. The only negative was that it was very dark, there wasn't any natural light as the windows were blocked

The room is small. There is no hand soap and hand towel in the bathroom. There is only one tv on the main floor but never turned on. No entertainment after returning to the hostel at night.

Great room for four.
I’ll say this was a second time staying, even though we simply switched rooms because the first room had been pre booked. We loved our time at K’s house. The space was a set of bunk beds and the room was swperate from the sink, shower room, and toilet, with a small entry space that had a spot to hang clothes. The bunks each had large storage pockets underneath which helped us to stay organized. The staff was super pleasant the whole time, and had recomendations as well as friendly conversation.

K’s house Tokyo Oasis was awesome. Very welcoming from our first moment to the last. The staff was knowledgable about the area, and they even had flyers and brochures for local events on a bulletin board, which proved very useful. We ended up enjoying a local lantern lighting ceremony on the river thanks to a flyer they had. The rooms, are comfortable and suited our needs. Definitely an oasis after many long days walking through various districts of the city in the 90 degree summer sun. Located in a wonderful area of the city with plenty of food options and shopping oportunities. Izakaya’s, Ramen, Soba, and great coffee shops are near by. Overall I am very pleased with K’s as my introduction to Japanese hospitality and will certainly stay there again the next time I’m in town.

Amazing Staff!
The location of this hostel in Taito City is great! Close to everything and lots to do. The stagg here is so friendly and helpful! They truly go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly and helpful staff, cozy hostel. Located a bit of a distance from the metro, but the surrounding area had a number of shops and eateries which made up for it. The private room was comfortable.

One of the rare hostels that keep a family style vibe. The staff is always curious to hear your experiences and is happy to give recommendations. It's located in the heart of Asakusa, 10 min walk from the Ginza line subway or toe line.

Friendly staff and clean room
My visit here started with a very friendly and welcoming staff. The staff were very friendly and will greet me everyday. I stayed in their private twin room with bunk beds and it was very clean. The room itself has a private toilet. There is a Family Mart(convenience store) located near the hostel. Sensoji Temple and the shopping street is a walkable distance from the hostel and there is lots of good food nearby. The nearest subway station Asakusa is a 5 minutes walk away but do note that this Asakusa station is the Tsukaba line. The other Asakusa station for the Ginza & Asakusa line is about 12 minutes walk away. Do check if you are riding the correct subway line.

Gem in heart of Asakusa
Hostel style location with option of shared dormitory or private room. Room with adjustable air condition/heating, shower/tub combo and western style toilet. On site laundry facility and balcony for smoking. Communal socializing space in lobby along with full size refrigerator for storage, dinnette set and various appliances for preparing and cooking food. Staff is very welcoming and friendly who spoke English. Helpful with recommendations and information about the sorrounding area. Provided maps and instructions on how to get to desired locations. Had information on day trips around Tokyo and sorrunding cities along with access to travel guides. Always attentive and courteous. Location of Hostel is very close to major points of interests in the neighborhood on a less congested side street and is very convienent for sightseeing and general shopping. Many nearby restaurants/cafes with reasonable pricing for dining out. Nearby supermarket and general store for groceries and necessaries. Stayed at the hostel for almost two weeks and there are virtually no complaints. The pricing is the best in the area and the service is above average. Very pleasurable experience and would like to stay there again on a returning trip.

I thought it was great; the room was small (to be expected in Tokyo) but we had our own bathroom (toilet, sink, shower). The beds were comfortable and it was clean. It was near the temple, shopping, and transportation.

I paid for a superior double room for my wife and I. Having stayed here before I was confident we would have a nice stay. Our room had mould growing on the walls and the window opened directly into the adjacent building so was devoid of any natural light. As an asthmatic we asked for another room but because they were fully booked, they couldn't do much. We were told they would scub the walls with detergent but when we returned it seemed like they forgot. To make matters worse I was attacked by bedbugs on the second night and had bites around my ankles. We decided to spend as little time at the hostel after that. The day before we left we saw into the adjacent room as it was being cleaned and it looked great. Presumably it was the Superiour Double I was sure I booked and even had a window looking onto the street. Regrettably the room we were stuffed into had nothing superiour about it and I suspect would be deemed dangerous by Australian and US standards due to the mould. Regrettably the state of the room put a dampener（pun intended）on our time there so I don't have much more complimentary to say. They hostel would get better use from that particular room if they used it to grow mushrooms as if has the right level of darkness and moisture.

K's hostel is good if you are after basic accommodation in a reasonable location. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were fairly small,this is consistent with other places we stayed in Tokyo.

Cute little place in Asakusa
The staff here are AMAZING! These guys truly go out of their way for you and are so friendly! The hotel is a little tricky to find from Asakusa station, but it's not far - 10 to 15 minute walk. It's a small place, only 5 floors with small rooms but adequate. There is a small lounge and kitchen which wasn't frequented alot when I was there. I was in a 4 bunk dorm which had it's own shower, toilet and sink which was good as it meant that you could do your business whenever you wanted. It's 5 minutes away from Sensoji temple, and you can walk to Ueno Park and Tokyo National Museum comfortably - same goes for Tokyo Skytree. Facilities were clean and you get free tea/coffee and condiments too

Would definitely stay again.
The staff were amazing, from tourist advice to just having a conversation. Everyone spoke English, some at different levels but it was a relief. I have stayed in other places where it was quite difficult. Great location, shopping and trains really close. This was my 2nd K's, both were great.

This is by far one of the best hostels I've stayed in, not just in Japan but anywhere! The staff were amazing, it was super clean and the double room was very spacious and included and shower and toilet. Thanks for the great stay, will be back!

My fiance and I took a side trip to Japan for a few days and stayed 4 nights at K's House. This is a hostel, so it isn't as full-service as a hotel, but the room we booked had a private (tiny) bath. This is Japan, so everything is tiny. The room was nice & the staff was helpful.

Affordable and comfortable hostel
K's House Tokyo Oasis is a very nice hostel to stay in. The room that we took was the twin ensuit room and it gives us enough space for our luggage and a small sitting area. The staff there is really helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay here again if I ever come back to Tokyo.

En pleine Asakusa, un de ses petits quartiers qui font Tokyo plus humain, à distance de marche de temple Sensoji et de plusieurs stations de métro. Je conseille de prendre la chambre avec balcon, un tantinet plus spacieuse. La cuisine est un plus et le personne très sympathique et serviable. Je retournerai sans doute -et ça sera ma quatrième fois! Du côté négatif, surtout le manque d'espace de rangement
