I am going to be completely honest here, the good and the bad. First the good. We were going to arrive after midnight so we called along the way to arrange for a late check in and the night staff was very accommodating and pleasant when we arrived. There was descent parking and the area felt safe, we found the room clean and no bugs (a BIG issue for me). Also I left some items behind in the room and I was able to get them back a few days later very easily.
NOW for the bad. The biggest issue were the beds. This is by far the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in. It was even uncomfortable to sit on! My niece commented that it felt more like a box spring than a mattress and that is exactly how I would describe it! We had decided to just get some drinks from the vending machine when we got there and save time by not making another stop. No luck there, the vending machines were turned off. After a long sleepless night, the next morning I just wanted to shower and get back on the road. We booked the room for 4 adults and realized that there were only 2 washcloths and 3 towels! So ok, coffee first. Nope, no coffee pot in the room. So down to the front desk for towels, wash cloths and hopefully coffee and maybe drinks from the machine. No such luck! Machine is still off, no coffee in the lobby, asked for towels and wash cloths and still didn't get them. Housekeeping also needs to clean the showers! Ours had mold and mildew on the walls and shower curtain.
