“Clean, cozy and nicely appointed efficiency apartment in the heart of Hammondsport. It was nice to walk to the lake, eateries and shops. We had no trouble finding on street parking. Lots to do in the area, antiquing, wineries, breweries, good restaurants and ice cream. We recommend the Hideaway!”

“Very small room. Clean, comfortable bed, but tight to move around. Adequate for one night stay. Very walkable neighborhood. No separate sink for kitchen area, but can't really cook, so not an issue. Only one comfortable seat, so if traveling with someone, one must sit on bed. ”

“Our room above the barn was perfect, clean, comfy, and included everything we needed for our four-night stay. It has a large window with a view East where I sat with my wife and a cup of coffee and watched the sun rise. “We love the Finger Lakes and Geneva was beautiful. I loved parking the car at the end of a wine filled day and walking to dinner in town. The apartment was well done and comfortable. The shower was a bit too small and the lack of an ice maker was an issue, but not a deal breaker.”

“We thought the property was very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, great location to Watkins Glen and plenty of wineries nearby. The firepit was a great plus with plenty of wood. Plenty of space to park and it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again! Would suggest a few more washcloths and towels. ”
