“Everything was as advertized. nothing bad to say. just an issue with the electronic lock(it had been changed but not updated) we couldn't go in the house with the code but my daughter called Denise and was all fixed within minutes. We were ther for a hockey tournament. Was perfect for us, parked the cars on friday and didn't have to touch them again. Everything was within walking distance. Would recommend highly and will probably be back again if we have to come back again.”

“Staying at the Maples was such a great and pleasant experience! It was really comfortable for 2 couples and extremely clean. Karen has put a lot of work in detailing every bit of info you might need as well as clearly marking everything in the house to make the stay extremely comfortable. It’s a great secluded house that worked wonders for our ski trip to Whiteface just 15 minutes away. We highly recommend considering The Maples as your next winter destination!”

“The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...
