"Wonderful vacation spot. The apartment was large, clean, close to the lake. Perfect spot to walk around the lake, walk to shops and restaurants and coffee spots. Right across from Olympic rinks and museum. The kitchen was well stocked and having access to laundry room was great. Driving to hiking trailheads was easy and quick from this location "
"The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine. "
"I chose The Boha as a value option and was very pleased with not only how comfortable and clean my room was but with how perfect the location was. The easy walk into Lake Placid made my stay very enjoyable. "

"A very nice and clean hotel. We had a good time but one thing that surprised me was the price of the appetizers in the hotel restaurant. We ordered the crab cake and got 6 very tiny pieces for $18 (I mean real tiny). To be honest it wasn't just me who was surprised but my whole family. And that applied for few other appetizers. Everything else was very good."
"This place is awesome owner is super nice and made us feel welcome ! Beautiful views nice pool and walking distance from town. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy "
"Great stay in this fairly new property. Spacious rooms. Good parking, and well-located. Everything in central Lake Placid within walking distance, and a pretty good brewpub right next door.
Pretty good complimentary breakfast. Coffee was ok, but could have been better (and refreshed more frequently).
Just two negatives. One, while everything is pretty new and modern looking, it’s designed and constructed in a way you get more noise passing into your room from the hallway than is typical in a decent hotel. People conversing in the hall near your room is genuinely disruptive.
Two, we were a family checking into two rooms and were given rooms on two different floors. I asked if they could get us on the same floor and was told no, even though the hotel was clearly not at capacity.
Nonetheless, we would stay here again if visiting the area. "
"High peaks was great for our summer stay in lake placid. We were in the waterfront collection and the ease of lake and pool access from the room was amazing. The rooms were cozy and beds comfortable. I wish they had fixed the dock the other side of the lake to give more options to sit and view the lake. The included water activities was a real treat! I would love to see refillable water dispensers, they were nowhere to be found at the resort; in the summer especially, that would have been nice. Also, one night they should have a late opening at the bar at the lake house. They closed at 9pm, in the summer. I get not every night but make it into a special evening with late night bar and maybe some activity at the lake house for the guests. Also, they had a movie night but I think the movie was poorly chosen because it was rated R-comedy and there were so many kids staying there at the waterfront and watching the movies. It was just uncomfortable. Could have been a family friendly comedy/movie but they made a bad choice. Other than that, recommend the resort, cant beat the location."
