Property was fairly nice and clean. Check in took some time as it took some time for a front desk person to appear. Then they told me my reserved room was not available (had reserved 2 queen beds) so offered me an “upgrade” to a king plus sofa bed. Online it lists the sofa bed as a double. It was not. It was a twin. For my family of 4 (2 teens) it was extremely uncomfortable to have 3 in the “king” which actually was a queen bed. I had reached out to Expedia CS but all they could offer me was a refund. I would’ve taken The refund but with softball and gymnastics events occurring in town it would be hard pressed to find what I needed and requested of this hotel. I’m not sure if it was Expedia who is at fault or the Marriot but it has made this stay uncomfortable and very very disappointing.

When we first arrived there was a barking dog next door; tried to change rooms but none was available. Did not hear the dog again until the morning. The iron did not work and the front desk said they had no more. My husband went to the front desk and asked if there was a spare room not being used with an iron and they brought that iron to our room. No wifi. The tv in the dining area was not working and the gal there said that they had been waiting for maintenance to come and fix it. Also the toilet when flushed continued to run water. My husband had to open the lid and fix it but it continued not to work each time it was used.

We stayed here several times, but this time our stay was disappointed. We could hear a dog barking and running up and down the room next door. And people talking loudly in the other side. All this was happening after 11 pm.

Bathroom needs more lighting it was too dark to put makeup on . There were no extra blankets or pillows for the pullout bed extra sheets were but they were all waddled up in a big plastic bag like they were just thrown in there .

I am terribly sorry if there were no extra sheets in the room for the fold out bed at the time of you staying. Our front desk staff are to have extra bundles in our office in case of situations like this were to occur. If something like this were to happen again please feel free to get in contact with one of our front desk associates so we could run the extra linen up to your room. If the extra linen is in the room our housekeepers tend to normally place the extra linen in a plastic bag on top of the closet near the bathroom. But, I am going to be forwarding this review over to the housekeeping lead to ensure we are able to communicate this across to our housekeepers so this does not occur again. The Fairfield Team really appreciates your time and we really hope that when your travels bring you back into the area you are willing to stay with us again so we could deliver the guest experience we strive to deliver.

It was good enough for our short trip. Two suggestions, we never saw anyone at the front desk. Only at check in and check out. Always in the back room. Really awkward not having anyone at the front desk to greet people or at least say hello. AC unit was not blowing as it should. We had to run it constantly and keep the blinds closed because it was 100 outside.

My associates are a little bit more busy in the afternoon due to doing laundry in the back office if not helping guests out with requests. I do want to apologize that you were having issues with your AC unit. I do not see any notes on my end indicating this was brought to our attention so I did want to make sure this was brought up to my Front Desk associates. Normally when issues like these come up we have our maintenance man go up to the room if not try to get you guys moved into a better room.
