Lodge on the Desert
5/5 Excellent
"Staff was very nice and everything was very clean. "
"The vibe is what sets the McCoy apart from corporate lodging. Live music by the pool, unique art in each room and on the property and even a food truck helps to make your stay a memorable one. Truly an oasis in the Tucson desert. "

"Out of the many hotels I’ve stayed at in the past, this one was probably one of, if not the best hotels given my room. The full studio apartment room was amazing, the water pressure was amazing (this is hit or miss with some hotels), the pool area is super cute, the trash cans around the property was great, the staff was nice and accommodating; overall my time here was wonderful. I would stay here again in the future.
The areas of improvements I would share are the following:
Add at least one roll of paper towels for the kitchen. Not having this was a bit of a pain.
Upgrade/Change your hotel sign because the current one is too small and hard to see from N Oracle Rd when driving to the hotel. This is something staff may not be aware of. The marquee sign lettering is too small and it blends in with the desert mountains making it difficult to see. For marketing purposes, please consider improving this with something that is eye catching to guests, or even non-guests for attracting business. I understand the hotel is currently undergoing renovations so this may be a pending update but if not, that’s my feedback on this.
There should be a sign in up in the kitchen informing guests about acquiring sponges and dish soap, including the process of disposing these items upon checkout. I know this information is provided on a checklist that hotel staff provides but paper gets lost in travel/stays so it would be beneficial to have it up in the kitchen for knowledge."
