Bison Acres Close to Crystal Mt with Hot Tub

"Very quiet, peaceful, private and well-appointed place to stay. The accommodations are so nice. Just a couple things. Our access code didn't work when we arrived after 5pm on a weekday for our first night. It was difficult contacting the host but she finally called back 1-1/2 hours later and re-programmed the keyless entry remotely. The next day we returned from an outing before 5 pm and once again our code didn't work. During that phone call, we were given another code that never caused an issue afterward. I’ll admit, my patience wore thin pretty quickly that first day—especially spending the first few moments of our stay staring at the outside of the rental we had paid for, unable to experience the inside while waiting for the host to communicate with us. But we got better acquainted and much more cordial when the issue happened again the next day and we figured out the keyless entry could be faulty. And I was grateful her solution solved the issue for good. The other minor detail is there are no steak knives or small kitchen knives for cutting veggies and such.All that said, I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful, very nice, safe stay. It is a great location to visit area features in many directions and then return to such well-appointed, clean comfort. We didn't get a chance to dine at St. Ambrose Cellars. But The Roadhouse Mexican Bar & Grill is an excellent place to eat!"

"The cabin was actually a cute little lodging. It was an individual structure surrounded by other similar cabins. It had the basic amenities; one queen bed, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, air conditioning unit, and two desks. It had a small half closet for hanging up clothes. The bathroom was stocked with the essentials; toilet paper, tissue and towels, and hair dryer. It was comfortable and clean."

"What an excellent place. Very central location. Hot tub was probably the nicest one I have ever been in. Outstanding!! House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Chairs in out of the way places was a nice touch. 12 frogs on property, can you find them all? Loved it!!"

"This place is amazing. One of our friends described it as disarming. Waking up every morning to the sound of a running river was so tranquil. The host was so easy to work with, the house has everything you need, and the property was perfect for grilling out with our friends. The price was so reasonable. I almost don't want to leave this review because I want to keep this place a secret."

"Beautiful property! The home is so thoughtfully set up and stocked as well. Just a heads up if you or any of your group have a hard time with technology, may be a bit of a challenge as everything from the lights to the blinds to the toilets and showers operate a bit unconventionally. All very cool though, and there are instructions posted everywhere. The property management company that handled the stay was very responsive but information was sometimes off or incomplete, at times felt like AI or something. Had to ask 4 or 5 times for entry codes and WiFi. Kept sending a link to a website they built for our stay, but all the info on the site just said “reach out for codes, password, instructions etc”. Overall a wonderful escape, we would stay again."
