"The motel itself is a bit dated but hey, it’s the mountains. What stood out was the exceptional customer service. Specifically, I found Shannon to be a rare gift to the hospitality field. She went well above and beyond to ensure that my stay was the best it could be. I was delayed in arrival and SHE actually called me to see if everything was alright. She then devised a plan to allow me to check in after normal hours. I’ve had less service at the Four Seasons. As long as Shannon is working there, I’ll be staying there. BTW - I never leave reviews - it takes a lot to earn my time. Thank you Shannon. "

"We loved the proximity to the west gate of Yosemite. Even though a hotel is close to a gate, it’s still a long drive into the valley. That’s for any hotel around Yosemite though. We loved our stay at the lodge and was able to take hot showers, relax in the hot tub, and get a good nights sleep after our extremely long days of hiking. We would venture over to the lucky buck cafe and get breakfast before heading to the park and would grab dinner after the park. Stay here, you’ll be glad you did. "

"Beautiful, well furnished home. Had everything from a gourmet kitchen to baby accessories. There were baby gates for our use as needed. The house is in a beautiful setting with a wonderful view of the forest above the trees. The only negative was a fee barking dogs. Thanl you for a great visit. "
